Revival Re-cap

So heres a summary of whats gone down since this whole sha-bang started.

Daily 19s popping 7-1:30 am avg

Frequent War Games between different groups of interconnected twinks

Multiple streamers streaming frequently

If you consider 19s was dormant two weeks ago this is HUGE. 19 twink guilds are all getting active again and rapidly building their own momentum.

Most of the day 2s are popping

IF you are a GM or an officer/well connected on horde please add my Battle Tag Conq#1458, being fully connected with the "pillars of the community" makes it a lot easier to organize things like War Games.

I'm looking for 19 Horde twinks who have a lot of horde twinks on their real ID, so when I put out a Que broadcast, they can as well. Right now alliance outnumbers horde 3-1 by my estimates. So the horde still needs more activity, alliance still needs more healers but they are doing better in that regard as well. I got into a Warsong with no horde rogues today.

If a horde guild were to aggressively recruit and/or fund on Bleeding Hollow Horde WSG pops would probably end up 3 at a time within two weeks. Having a big name behind this would draw in a lot more players as well.

Textile Worshiping Cult is certainly a guild on the up and up for BH horde. Our numbers have increased and we're actively queuing every day.

I'd say you guys are the most active horde guild as far as queueing goes...always see a few of you in every game. I've been there every evening (did arrive to one at midnight due to a dinner date) and every night I see you.

The 10v10 some of you guys did a few nights ago was a terrible idea. Although its always fun to measure male genital size, it ruined the WSG pops for the rest of the night for everyone else.

Its fun to organize those things but when you're lacking activity, its not the brightest thing to do so early in the "revival" of a bracket.

Not much, but still enough disrespect towards my 10 when I play it in the gulch to make it feel like ppl are discriminating 10s in the 10-19 bracket. I would love to see more 10s in there, dont be shy to make one. Dont let other ppl decide what you do.

Apart from that, I am loving the bracket from my 10s perspective. Ive topped the DMG charts a few times and I find that I am actually very useful to the team, unlike some might think.

Food for thought.

I support the main content of your post, but

Framing that quote makes it look like I am measuring my male genital size, I get it. Very well played.

But if you read it in the context that I wrote it in, and if you dont cherry pick and place my quotation in a totally different context, you would have noticed I was providing evidence for the premise I had just wrote; about how level 10 twinks can successfully compete against 19s.

Take your snappy-comments somewhere else.

Also, welcome to Twinkinfo.

Considering the context, all you really provided evidence for is that Warriors have Rend at level 10.

10s are fine, they can contribute well enough and people are welcome to play them if they'd like to, but I don't see why you'd encourage anyone to make one for this revival. The only reasons to be level 10 in BGs are to either play an existing twink that you care about or to feel special about yourself for playing at a disadvantage. Gear/stat scaling is exactly the same no matter what level you are. Gameplay-wise, there are literally zero benefits to playing below the max level in a bracket now.

So yes, you'll probably get a comment here and there about being level 10. I'd expect just as much for 19 rogues, locks and druids who don't kick, fear or use travel form. Same thing for people who click their abilities or backpedal. In the context of 10-19 battlegrounds, you're intentionally playing sub-optimally at the expense of your team. It's not a huge gap (depending on class I suppose) and it's not like 10s are getting AFKed out of games. Tune out occasional comments, play the game and enjoy what you're doing or take the 2-3 hours to level and gear a 19 for BGs.

Sponsor gets it done so who cares. In my opinion real pros only care about results, and he gets results.

I see lots of discussion about "technique" in why people think they're better than others, but basically no discussion about results. If you're helping your team win WSG by being where you need to be to accomplish objectives, then you're a pro. You can have best gear and do all the techniques right and be a worthless middle fighting tool. Techniques are situational and some players (myself included) do certain things at certain times because it's proven effective in higher level premades than most of the current players have seen. It's what works for me, just like his lvl 10 is what works for Sponsor. I never have a problem healing him because he plays really smart and is effective.

Regarding the last poster, since you mentioned that he was NOT getting afk'ed I'd like to mention how f'ed up it is that anyone would get afk'ed for any reason other than actually afk-ing. If the game allows that abuse then that's just stupid (and I just returned from a very long break so don't know).

Too much theorycraft about people should be good because they have this gear or use this technique. Focus instead on who really excels. If you're playing flags then you're there to see who is pro and who isn't. If you're in the middle when that's not the right move (and over 50% of the time the middle is full of people - it's NOT the right move) then you have no business telling anyone else how they should play because you've got a lot to learn yourself.

You can't help your team to the best of your ability if you're lacking spells, gear and talents. If you have a level 10, by all means keep him because you spent a lot of time on it; but if you truly want to benefit your team the most you should be level 19...

19s>16s>14s>10s
29s>26s>24s>20s>f2p

F2P is free though. And P2Ps play completely uncompetitive PvP, so I would put F2P as the best of the 20-29 bracket.
