Is there any chance to link two F2P accounts - one of them EU, one US?

Is it me or is EU horde a lot more balanced when it comes to team. Usually on Alliance we have like 4-5 rogues and a huge lack of other classes. What I noticed the most is that we lack Shamans and Priests (f2p ones, I don't count p2p shadow priests - but still they are "rarer" than horde ones).

What I usually see in my games..

Alliance:
3-4(sometimes more) rogues
1-2 holydins (if lucky)
2-3(hunters)
1-2(couple of useless classes such as warriors or undergeared newbs)
1-2druids(if very very lucky, I've had lots of games without druids)
Horde:
1-2 rogues (usually p2p - sometimes f2p)
2-3 Druids
2-3 shamans (elemental, but they tend to heal their teammates a lot)
2-3 Paladins (prot/holy)
2-3 hunters
2-6 P2P fgts
1-3Priests

Notice how we on alliance lack Shamans and Priests, and honestly I find those classes very important and enjoyable. A well played f2p shaman can sometimes make a living hell other classes, same goes for priests since they easily create "defend healer effect" thanks to their shields. So in short we are lacking the "important classes" in my eyes. Having too many rogues ends really badly because they lose badly vs grouped up teams.

P.S what are the que times on Horde EU side? For me on alliance I have between 8min and 25min.

I can click in the battle.net account settings and add a EU F2P account to my battlenet account.
However, I do believe mounts and other account wide things don't transfer accross.

Along the lines of Tyra's question how hard is it to play on EU servers? Do i just need the euro wow client?

Go to your wow folder\WTF\Config.wtf change the line

SET locale "enUS"
to
SET locale "enGB"

then start the game with clicking on the wow.exe

the first start takes about 30 seconds then its easy to switch back and forth.

Only thing to be careful about is to not switch back and forth on patch day as this can confuse your wow because patches a deployed a day later on eu.

I have that, not sure how it happened though.
If you're talking about two pre-existing WoW accounts, it's going to take a call to Blizzard. You used to be able to call direct, but they changed that.

So, go to your battle.net and open up a ticket. Choose the option where you type in your own response, so that the option to call comes up. Type in something like "connect accounts...blah, blah, blah". Talk to Blizzard rep and they should hook you up.

It's even easier to make a new EU on a US account or visa-versa, if you don't already have one. I'm pretty sure all you have to do is go to the other continent's version of the website, and then add a starter account. If that doesn't work, you can always have a friend send your battle.net email a RAF, and activate it on the EU/US website.

Keep in mind that currently mounts/titles/achievements aren't linked from US to EU, so the main benefit to all this is the account management/login stuff. The beta battle.net launcher makes it all pretty slick to go back and forth, with just a little download to do so (and need to go into WTF config file).

I have 4 EU F2Ps 1 EU p2p and 1 US f2p account linked togheter, nothing I did about it but I'm not gonna complain.

warriors useless?

and yea there was a thread about how maybe its due to the fact that ally has a lot better gear for leatherwearers 20s than horde does.

and the fact that horde has better caster gear ( gloves of the hero ,uninsured bracers, merger boots)

pretty sure if you ask a gm you could get them linked to the same b.net, but I don't think any acc stuff works on US

Like said before, just change the config in wow files from enUS to enGB

This didn't work for me, came up with some error

I did it this way in the end [How-To] change EU wow client to US client vice versa

obviously changing us to eu for you

It basically downloads all the initial files then you just copy over the bulk of the data and finally it downloads like 1 gig to fix itself up. Saves you from downloading the whole 20 odd gig client

Using the battle.net launcher beta tclient cuts out the necessity of having to do this. You just pick from a list of all accounts, both EU and US.

Why do people play in the F2P bracket? and don't say because it's free, because their are private servers that offer you the entire game for free (and you choose which expansion you want to play).

fast pops, many familiar faces/rivals to face, easy to get pre boa bis to start bgs, small pool of abilities to learn .. pretty basic stuff that makes the bracket nice

Blizzards servers are more permanent, at least that's how i feel anyway. In a game genre that's all about building your character up i don't see the point in playing a version of the game that could disappear whenever.

Horde EU has the better individual players. That's why they are able to play non-fotm classes with success.

So, after patch everybody in f2p chat has had their name colored gray. At first i thought it was my settings but its not. Has this happened on any other realms? Or is it just MG?

I didn't notice any grey names (I'm not on MG).

So I've been doing that honor point shuffle - buying grand staff of jordan and getting a refund before 2hrs game time over and over. But since the patch, I'm no longer able to get a refund . . . am I stuck with it?

If so, it's not too bad, as I don't relish the thought of grinding all the profs and dmf dailies (to get pve staffveffve).

is it possible to transmog the Polished Spaulders of Valor into the Burning Pauldrons of Might (loom shoulders to loom shoulders) on a lvl 20 warr/pala?
