Hey guys!
I need help, I am out of targets :p
I'm collecting honor, and I already have all the looms I want, I have the battle standard, I am exalted with all 5 JP northrend factions... I will buy cloth shoulders to mog my MM, but is there anything else I can waste my honor on?

Get bis pieces for other specs. Or you could roll another class. Try a mage or shaman, they are so fun that you probably wont bother playing a dull paladin anymore

its a ilvl 21 item which means it drops from all mobs lvl 18-24 in SFK

Considering Gloomshroud Armor, Necrology Robes and Duskbringer are ilvl 21 as well that doesn't seem like the only reason (although I'm not dumb enough to believe they still drop). I've seen most SFK BoEs drop since I started playing F2P in July '11 and the only one I haven't seen (that's not considered GF'd) is Shadowfang.

6 Mindthrust Bracers (got 4 - 2 on a rogue, 1 on my mage and 1 on my warlock), 4 Night Reavers (got 1 on a shaman), no-clue-how-many Black Malices (got idk how many, maybe all of them if I felt like it), 2 Guillotine Axes (got only 1 on idk which character, probably rogue), 3 Witching Staves (got 1 on my mage), millions of Face Smashers (just kidding, but about 8 - got ~5 on random characters mostly).

Gloomshroud, Duskbring and Necrology Robe are GFd due to their pre cata item level being too high (25 which means it drops from mobs level 22-28, bosses are lvl 21)which means that due to the revamp in mid wotlk they stopped dropping when the revamp that reduced the few mobs that were level 22+ to below 22+ which is one of the reasons they are so much rarer than other cata GFd items, the other being that it was rarer to begin with.

The revamped old version.

Gloomshroud Armor

Vanilla was too long ago for me to remember that, my bad.

Well, then the only reason those items are GF'd because Blizzard is being an asshole with not adding the revamped versions to the loottables...

Since those items have been scaled to level 16 something probably just went wrong somewhere. Atm there are 2 items from SFK that arent scaled to level 16.
Shadowfang and Fenris Hide.

ay mang i'm not on any other forums so i got a skyrim question

i manually downloaded from nexus mods climates of skyrim as well as the compatibility patches for the 3 sounds of skyrim (the sounds of skyrim mods themselves from steam workshop) and i copied the folders to my skyrim data directory (program files x86 -> steam -> steamapps -> common -> skyrim -> data) as per instructions on various sites and though all the files in the folders are .esp, .esm or .bsa they don't show up on the data files option of the launcher. when i took them out of the file folders they showed up but crashed the game. EDIT: it's the compatibility patches crashing the game, only happens when i remove them from file folders (otherwise they don't show up in data files in skyrim launcher like i said). question below applies

what am i doing wrong? (please give me baby steps i don't know shit bout computers)

EDIT: it looks like it may be the compatibility patches that are crashing the game. when i remove the rest of the climates of skyrim files from their folders and see if i can play i'll change this update. i'm definitely still asking for help tho, i want to have the compatibility patches working so i can have both mods. i asked the guy who made sounds of skyrim on the steam workshop but who knows how long it'll be till he answers

male you're always helpful so imma mention you

I'll be honest, I have no clue at all about that. Sorry.

Regarding Assassin's Blade, it should be noted that it used to be item lvl 24 and on the same loot table as Shadowfang. While the current item lvl of 21 would suggest that any mob in SFK should drop it, there's a chance that despite the changes (and considering its extreme rarity since cata), it was never removed from the same loot table as Shadowfang after the changes.

Someone may point/may have pointed out that MTB used to also have a higher ilvl (22) before it was dropped down to ilvl21/16req--same as Assassin's Blade--and yet it still drops frequently. However, it should be noted that MTB never required higher than lvl 17 to equip, whereas both Shadowfang and Assassin's Blade required 19 before the changes. MTB was probably never on the same loot table as SF and Assassin's Blade. Although it would make sense for Blizz to adapt the drop rate/loot tables of SFK once cata hit, we all know Blizz often does not use their collective brain.
