Sword/mace in mh and a dagger in oh is probably better than sword/sword because poisons procs arent ppm but static % chance.

Since there is no specialization in any weapon type I dont get why ppl still always want to pair them typewise?

OK, I can see the reasoning for OH fast dagger as, all else being equal, you may as well have an improved proc rate from a faster dagger.
But how about the MH, why not the same reasoning? Isn't the damage from ambush and Hemo normalised between dagger/swoord/mace?
(btw thanks for the responses)

Spell hit fixed yet?

Just kidding, we may only have to wait for a patch or two. So a year or soemthin

More like next expansion

Off-topic to the question, but your 'Leveling without gear' goal looks interesting - I wish you luck with it (if you were US I'd have gladly run you through instances to help) :p

The whole point is not to run instances at all - I have one entry (but no boss killed) because a quest needed me to get to deadmines and use some kind of ghost form to see a cutscene.
But thanks :)

So I have almost 300 DMF tickets on my shaman...

I have a ton of enhance gear from dungeons and stuff...

Should I buy some enhance BoAs? Should I save my tickets? I enjoy the whole DMF process of farming mats and leveling professions and having something to do every day other than PvP so getting more tickets in a month isn't a huge problem.

It is somewhat normalized yes, perhaps even in favor of daggers when ambush is concerned. The stats on the pvp dagger are very defensive however and I'd normally prefer the offensive stats on sword/mace or pve dagger, but the pve daggers faster speed (1.7) makes it unsuitable for main hand use because the dmg is lower than all other daggers which were normalized to 1.8.

Another thing is you need a mace or sword for when you realize combat is superior to subtlety with the state of healers atm, because of 35% better out of stealth burst. :p

For sub pvp dagger mh, pve dagger oh is still also very viable.

Thanks, that's cleared it up.

All special attacks with daggers are normalized to a 1.7 speed.

Hello kind sir. You have to get Lvl 80+ player who will enter Icecrown Citadel while you are in party with him, and you enter after him. Then find some guys 2-3 90s is ok to clear ICC up to precious - kill it and it the shirt didn't loot exit and reset and take portal to kill it once more etc. important note: if you kill festergut respawn of precious is blocked until next Wednesday.

Thank you!!

Doesn't change any of my points, the normalization you are talking about is concerning how ap adds to your damage afaik (unless there has been a change that I'm unaware of, if so please share a link:)), so a weapon with the same dps but with higher dmg because of slower attack speed will still be better.

When I said daggers were normalized to 1.8 I was talking about how Blizzard changed the attack speeds of most daggers to 1.8

Not sure if someone already asked or if someone said it, but I am wondering about Filled Festive Mug, specifically if it is an infinite resource. I used it once about 4 times, and after the fourth time it disappeared and then reappeared in a different spot in my bags. Does it never run out, or does one have to do something special to make it not run out?

It's been mentioned before. I'm not sure about the thread or post but I know it has. I think it has an avg lifespan of 50 uses

i think it varies on how long it lasts, on my lock i think i counted about 20 uses while on my hunter it was about 10. no idea how it works but theres always the gnomer parachute
