Does anybody know how much light and medium leather stacks you need to lvl up lw to max? Any must have pets for pvp to get? Thanks

I think it usually takes about 150-170ish light leather if I remember correctly, medium leather I'd get a lot of to make backup armor kits.

For pets I like a bird for disarm (or scorp), a wasp for the interrupt, a moth for a silence, sometimes a wolf is cool for the crit bonus to your team, crocodiles give a slow so you could use I like a second conc shot. There's some other abilities but I'm not much of a hunter person, I'd consult the hunter guide in the guides section

I always aim for at least 20 stacks of light leather. I factor in the scraps that I get along the way. Once I hit 100, I go to Duskwood since I'm pretty much exclusively alliance, and farm enough mediums to make several stacks of medium armor kits so I never have to do it again. Bring a skinning knife with you. Lvl 21-24 mobs require 105 or 110 skill points to skin.

I'll let someone else answer the pets question since I haven't touched my f2p hunter since around Christmas in '11...

Just got Foreman's Gloves on my troll balance druid

for respeccing to feral what rings/chest/shoulders? already took sandals of sacrifice, the int argas ring . . and I dunno what other quest rewards I have taken the non-agi reward.

have had lava dredger, serra'kis, BWBracers, satchel bandit belt/cloak, FotL taking up bag space for a long time. I'll have to get Smelting Pants

LFH, MM, 2 AGMs, BOA insignia . .

I realize I can't ever be BiS, but - - - What rings should I get other than DPR and RoP? Legionnaire's and just use the Int Argas ring for stam and what little benefit the Int would give me? . . . . . . Slayer's Band for the crit?

BOA agi shoulders or MM

BOA agi chest or Armor of the Fang? looking at the scaling index . . Azure Scale Vest a worthy option for the crit?
or I coould go with belt, armor and legs of the fang to add to the expertise from foreman's. Does the fang set expertise scale?

hit cap is 14, right?

damn, thinking about dropping a prof to make a few rough weight stones reminds me that I'll need to farm agi pot on this guy too, ugh. At least I've had 2 swift pot recipes sitting in my bank for months and months (I've put off herb/alc forever b/c of laziness and anxiety over running out of the now-not-even-half-as-good wizard oil)

Hmm, how about this:
LFH
agi neck
MM/Shadowcraft Shoulders
bandit Cloak
Armor of the Fang
BWBracers
FOreman's Gloves
Belt of da Fang
Fang Pants
FotL
RoP/DPR if I can get one (or both)
Legionaries
AGM/trinket
RoPerf

looks good
Id use trinket over rune of perf, and hoggers over fang, also bandit over fang belt. Shadowcraft shoulders + hoggers is enough for cap so you can swap around btw naga gloves and foremans depending on the situation.

Anyone know a dead server i can farm AGM easily on? Dont need to have other F2Ps on it i'll just invite my IRL friends on it. US server btw

WoW-Professions.com | 1-600 Profession Leveling Guides - MoP and WoW Leatherworking Guide 1-600 | Leatherworking Leveling Guide
Unlike the guide says, you can make Embossed Leather Gloves up till 95 and save about 20-30 light leather by doing so (having to craft 2 gloves for a level up still saves 2 light leather from the guaranteed level up of Fine Leather Belt), all in all, you need about 150-200 light leather, not factoring in the scraps you get and the light leather you can create with those. You should total about 230-240 light leather (scraps-made ones included) and then medium leather in an amount you need the armor kits in, if you have a lot of light leather to spare after hitting 100, you can make a few medium leather, I would advise making at least 6 kits for any given class (so you can put 3 kits on your main gear and have 3 to spare if you get a rare item upgrade (like Foreman's Gloves) or if you change spec).

On farming leather:

Alliance can farm all their light leather in Elwynn at the mentioned spot from Light Leather Farming - Best places to farm Light Leather (best if you have a ranged class with a dot that kills said boars but doesn't oneshot them; priests or druids for example - then you can just stand in the middle of the field and dot them up and wait till they run to you, then die and so on, they respawn VERY quickly, you will have 0 downtime if you keep looting and skinning inbetween)

Horde should kill boars outside of OG till they hit at least 30 skinning (50+ is better) and then head to Crossroads, kill your way west up to the cliffs above Ratchet (past the level 90 mobs) and then farm the raptors, lions and giraffes (I recommend raptors as they drop Raptor Eggs usable for +6 stam bufffood).

My auto loot is off and I loot moonfang. Before clicking the items I DC and Come back with no body to loot or any of the loot in my bags.

The next day I get mail from the postmaster.
If I explain the situation to a GM will they help me get the loot in the mail?

What percentile of the posts in the f2p forum are in this thread, and in the 3 Q&A threads combined. Isn't it around 1.5-3%?

Quite high chance he will. I got my loot from dungeons and random bags restored.
Even asked once to delete the mail from postmaster, and GM did it (I've had item from ICC there, he saw it, yolo)

That extra 11 stem should help. Right now I'm only sitting on 1400 HP out in the world. Slowly building a real INT set...

Been rocking fang gear with INT shoulders and rings....

I have no idea if expertise scales. Never thought to check lol.

Staff of the Sun is out of the question. I'm Alliance.

Guess I need to farm BFD...
