You should! I've been shredding 20s, 27s and 29s since this change went live. I've got no issue with 29s whatsoever. Even the 29s with double 8-sec stun weapon, I can out-perform if they're on my team and beat when they're on the enemy team.

People underestimate maxxed 25s so much.

They actually patch the problem; player without subs can unlock and lock their exp at anytime (I discovered that by mistake on a toon on my vet account, and I tested it on my free trial account, and it works too)

To the people saying "just make 29s" you really think 29s will last more than a few weeks? The hardcore FTP players will just move on to achieve hunting/pve, the vets will do wargames on specific days, and random queues will die. Just like before there won't be enough 29s to support 29s only games and they'll die off (just like every x9 xpoff bracket has).

I don't think this change will kill 20s. I think it will kill random bgs for 20s.

Seems like the spiral into random BGs dying has begun. If you play alliance or during non peak hours, expect to have a long wait. Which is going to result in less and less people willing to wait for what could be a shoddy match with 29 mm hunts doing their careful aim 1 shots.

A small addendum. This will kill random BGs as a source of anything but HK farming/begrudging achievement hunting for 20s. There are a ton of "weird F2Ps" and genuine new-to-the-game starter account players who will lemming que into BGs and they'll keep random ques popping. 29s will eventually settle into a "we get pops for 6 hours a day and the ques are 15-30 minutes long depending on faction balance" bracket.

There will be an effort made to organize wargames that will fail spectacularly and there might be a couple 2s and 3s enthusiasts who eventually peel off to just play arenas.

And 20s enthusiasts (both F2Ps/Vets) will be fine. Despite the dumbest people on the forums thinking this is a new development for 20s and the "first time we've been treated like twinks" or whatever, we've been here before. Multiple times. We're very used to being the redheaded stepchild of twinking. We just had a few years there where the same people who laughed at us suddenly needed our knowledge so they could keep farming levelers. Now that they dont need us any more, they've gone back to "just make a 24/29 whats the matter you too broke?"
