Purj's PTR Enchant Findings

Crusader is roughly 1PPM, Dancing Steel is 2.3PPM - So it has greater up time on the warrior, but doesn't heal and is 33 less STR per proc.

Executioner is 90crit at 1PPM, which is quite nice as well

Have you tested mongoose vs dancing steel as well?

What about Elemental Force vs Dancing Steel?

For me, Elemental Force was proccing every 3-4 dot ticks on a boomkin, hitting for 120-240 dmg. I wonder how it would do on say, an enhancement shaman.

In 5.4, will you be able to put leg armors like Sorched Leg Armor on boa legs? I'm a bit confused if you can or not.

Yes, you will be able to put leg armors and shoulder enchants on your characters. However, you will have to utilize a high level character to do it with, which means BoAs will be BiS for all classes and specs.

It will work like this: Use level 70/80/85 to apply leg armor/shoulder enchant to BoA item, send BoA item over to low level character.

That is, unless they fix it before release (probably wont, cuz it's Blizzard).

Elemental Force on my mutilate rogue does pretty decent damage as it procs off dot ticks, dot procs, and autohits. You can even get 2 EF procs off of one poison proc as you got the enchant on both weapons.

For an ehancement shaman, that would be procs from:

Searing Totem
Flame Shock
Auto Attacks
Flametongue procs
Lightning Shield

Hmmm, that seems better than using any other enchant, especially since it can proc @ range.

Just had another thought: getting someone with flame shock then spreading it to a group with Lava Lash = lots of chances to proc elemental force.

I really appreciate what you guys, Arkant, Throwed and Uraflamer, are doing for the community.. I love to see this kind of welcoming and helping other fellow twinks! Keep up the good work! Hopefully some corrupted mod won't delete all these helpfull posts!

I am quite sure that EF is vastly superior to both Mongoose and Dancing Steel as its damage also penetrates armor unlike the boost those other two enchants provide.

if some of these enchants still require a high level to do? has anyone tested if they can be done on the PTR thru the trade window?

Enchants can be applied at any level.

Item Enhancements (Shoulders/Legs) require a higher level, and do not work through the trade window. This means you have to be using BoA legs and have a main on the server.

5.4 is definitely going to open up a lot of different avenues for making a twink.

1. Resil build
2. Stam build
3. Dodge build
4. Glass cannon build
5. Crit build
6. Haste build

There will be a variety of ways to make a viable toon, instead of seeing X armor class with all the same gear/enchants, we should see things mixed up a bit.

yea this is wack, i dont wanna re gear and all that,
theres prolly finna be weird new builds as well
a niga dont wanna deal with that sizzle

I thought Dancing Steel required a high iLvl weapon. If that works on weapons, would Tigerfang work on shoulders?

Is that a troll? You're asking in a thread dedicated to the 5.4 patch note regarding the level requirement of enchants being removed.

What about Heavy Borean Armour kit?

Reason being for almost every heirloom slot (save for the legs) it offers the most raw stamina gain. Looking through the table at 1-60 it becomes red though for applying to non heirloom gear. Have you or anyone else tried WOTLK/cata/mop armour kits on boas to see if it is working?
