I've played a few games in this bracket recently, and all the chat is mostly arguments for and against this talent issue. People are, apparently, actively inspecting friendly talents and presumably reporting them. People are raging about imbalance because of this bad lua function.

I have some news, you are probably not losing the BG because of this talent exploit.

Before the start of every BG, I inspect my whole team. Those who have 30+ talents get reported with the following message "Using level 90 talents at level 20[or 24]". Its copied, so all I gotta do is target, report and paste away! Fast and efficient :) Done before clock even hits the 10 second mark.

To show you the extent to which this is really dumb. A 24 Spriest took down 5 guys at once with Cascade.

Also for all you obnoxious optimistics hoping to get away with file tampering and game play exploitation (which violates the terms you just ticked off and agreed to w/o reading):

They are aware. They are planning on punishing accordingly to the wrong do'ers, and I am mass reporting all of you so you dont escape their radars.

Nothing personal, I just enjoy having a nice healthy Twink bracket.

Don't you?

But what about teh funz. Its only until tuesday anyways. Its patched in 6.0 ptr so its patched on Tuesday.

People on Ownedcore say it still works on PTR (as of 2 hours ago), though. Not that I dont believe you, its just I rather take my word from pro exploiters than a rumour circulating on TI.

Fun is a subjective term, so whatever I find fun will be different for you, and risking the integrity of my account is not part of that.

Thinking of how many people the are currently subbing for this game, and using this addon at twink brackets, possibly many in numbers, i believe that blizzard may have a debate on a suspension or a ban ...perma-bans on alot of these players may drop blizzard's funding significantly since WoW is their only game that has a monthly subscription. Idk just a thought...

while playing on my f2p restricted rogue i ran into a sram stacked 24 rogue with burst of speed. whole team reported him i think lol

If a jeweler leaves his store open at night, you're still not allowed to go in and take all the jewelry. It's still theft.

You can't get in trouble if a jeweler leaves his store unlocked at night, all the responsibility is left on the jeweler. Same kind of thing with blizz.

Sometimes I feel like people that espouse the position that perma-bans aren't real, are just hoping they aren't real, and are really just talking to themselves because they are in denail. I don't have enough experience to make an informed decision myself, so I've abstained. However, I'm not going to pretend like I'm any better than anyone for doing so. Lord knows I've done my share of wrong in my time.

Life is all about risk and reward. Do it or don't, and live with the consequences—whether it holding up banks or exploiting game hacks. Some people would rather live one day as a tiger than a thousand years a sheep. I can understand that.

This bracket has never been fair, these talents make it slightly more unfair and a whole lot more hilarious.

If you want to use em do it, there will be no mass banwaves, blizz can't get off its ass to even make content anymore, or fix things so long broken people forget what the unbroken use for them was.

There might be bans, and thats just bad luck man I'm sorry, but to expect coordinated and serious effort from Blizzard? Thats more of a joke than saying this bracket has ever been about competitive equality.

This is like 10 twinks exploiting xp on brackets, it will never be fixed untill later on when it's too late.

Blizzard has also "been looking into" the issue of botting too for how many years? It will get fixed when they get around to it. If it is easy. Until then, it really is not THAT overpowered, everyone can easily do it and Blizzard does not just up and ban it's customers for such a small infraction. How many people have gotten banned for terrain jumps here? How many people take their toons into ICC and worry about being banned? My suggestion is to CHILLAX and enjoy.

IS
JUST
A
GAME

it would be fine if the abilities were actually balanced for our level, it'd make a more interesting bg experience, but having people hitting absolutely ridiculous numbers because the ability wasn't made for our level and doesn't scale properly or whatever.... it isn't that fun. It just enhances class imbalance.

This is exactly how I feel as well. Of course, the people who -are- hitting those ridiculous numbers or who have game-breaking abilities now are going to be the same ones posting here deriding anyone who speaks against it as buzzkills. People with a power advantage will always justify their advantage, sometimes subconsciously, in order to alleviate the cognitive dissonance.

My own take on it is screw it, I'm just not going to BG until this is gone. And if they don't fix it and it's still in WoD, I don't care, I'll go back to War Thunder; I'm at least as good a pilot as I am a flag carrier. My absence won't matter, it's not like I pay for the game. I played one single WSG today because I needed 12 honor to get some LK rep tabards, and it was miserable. Starkly divided between the people who cheat, and the people who die. I'm not gonna feed that machine. Y'all have fun on your slanted playing field if that's your thing I get it. My face won't be missed in the meantime.

Are you not the same level 10 Sponsor that so flagrantly abused the xp-on glitch?

Nothing personal, I'm just trying to put your post in perspective.

I should be clear. I have not and will not use this lua function "exploit" because it is clearly unintended. The integrity of my account means nothing. It is my integrity that I care about. I agree that the issue should come to blizzards attention, but I do not agree that specific people should be reported. Different people draw their moral lines differently.

If I felt strongly about it, I would at least warn the individuals that if I see them using it in WoD I'll report it. But I don't feel strongly about it.

I'm with Kincaide on this one:

And the same person that used this same thing on at least his 20 druid and also thinks bliz won't look into his own account history after he reports others.
Living with one face is a lot easier.
