Possible banwave after the talents exploit.

Cheaters never win, but snitches get stitches. Whatever maxim you ascribe to, I guarantee some of your in-game friends feel differently than you do, and have either exploited the exploit, or reported someone for doing it. Just live and let live, and worry about your own conduct because that's all you can really control anyway.

Metro poked fun at us f2ps using the field slave vs. house slave dialectic. Don't let him be right. Let's not devide ourselves and forget who the real enemy is: Bobby Kotick: CEO, President, and a Director of Activision Blizzard. He's the one that took away all of Blizzard's fucks.

For further reading on how to reconcile differences respectfully, read my public apology in this thead: http://www.twinkinfo.com/forums/f29/now-its-out-open-61743/index6.html#post833825

my friend talked to a GM and he said they still havent fixed this coz theyre busy fixing low lvl pvp

Haven't played myself F2P for quite awhile now and those who know me, can vouch for this so, you can't blame me on this one.

Thing is, friend of mine (won't name him for obvious reasons), being annoyed by the abundance of exploiters with the new talent shits, talked to a GM and showed him proof with the exploit, also named all the exploiters he encountered during his battleground adventures during the last days.

From what he told me, the GM assured him that BAN lists are filled as we speak concerning those that exploit the talents.

So, i ask you.. those with rare items like Shadowfangs and stuff.. is worth it to risk your account? It might be a perma-ban, it might be a just few hours ban, no one knows for sure. But i ask again, is worth it?

/peace out

GMs don't do this. Every GM I have ever met that gave good info said "we can't comment on ban lists, bugs etc." This is a VERY common practice among ANY customer service orientate business. I call bullshit.

troll post is troll.
I think the point of the troll is valid though. Historically, Blizzard has often either not fixed what is broken, or just taken so much time "fixing" things that people forget that they were even supposed to do it.

yeha but hes trolling so his post should be removed, causes thats TI. or have the 8 posts of mine being deleted tonight not abide by the same rules?

cause im literally at a lose where TI mods think trolling starts and ends. :/

Near the end of BC (think it might have been the WotLK pre-patch actually), there was a bug where you could buy honor gear for free.; entire sets in some cases... I don't think Blizz is going to ban anyone for this. At worst, they will fix it the way they did the honor bug I mentioned; they will roll a given toon back to before the exploit was used on that toon, and thus, erase anything you might have gained from using said exploit.

He isn't being insulting, or attacking anyone, or derailing the thread.
Not saying you did or didn't do those things, just stating the above as my take on general guidelines for how mods determine what to remove.

still trolling bud, rules are rules. they dont change whether you like the person rofl.

i got the guy his first AGM you really think im gona be a prick to him on some niche forums? kek

I don't see f2p's getting banned over something like this. If that was the case, then anyone on a f2p with level 225 professions, a Death Knight, or any paid account enchantments would already have gone bye bye.

what.

cause said "exploit" were wide spread thru out wow, i.e ( i know this might me hard to consider) but f2p is less that 0.1% of wow. said exploit only effects levelers 15-89 which in the larger scheme of things is huge.

some shitty little f2p's exploiting a GM maybe 10-20 times compared to an exploit openly available to levelers from 15-89 is MASSIVE compare to the f2ps who cant afford wow.

i mean seriously, F2P is extremely small compared to the rest of wow. for instance, go look at arenajunkies.com, all they do is complain about DdoS'er and win trading which effects end game, not some random free bracket blizz allow to happen.

So yeah on the grant scale of things, F2P's is bearly a blip on the map, and yet the complaint after complaint thread (by the way on a niche forums) continue and people expect change.

Honestly 99% of the time reading these kind of posts day in day out, it make sense why f2p get trolled. there self righteous out look on wow like they "own the bracket" and once they command something "IT SHOULD BE DEALT WITH Or.... nothing... will ever happen".

again, just my opinions on the matter, im not trolling cause i disagree just putting in to perspective how silly people sound by posting without thinking.

Thanks, Junoo.

If you'll look at what I said, maybe you'll see the point before you type a wall of text.

Blizzard does not care about Starter Edition accounts abusing systems. You can't convince me otherwise, or else most of my
accounts wouldn't exist anymore.

By the way, you taking my words, adding on extra meaning, and making false accusations towards me because of the rest of the community is rather silly.

What I said about me not seeing f2p's getting banned for this means exactly that, why bother with an account that only harms well, nothing?

Your post had literally nothing to do with what I typed, and because you quoted me in it, I'm marking it as spam.

I wasn't so much suggesting that the mods delete posts for simply "trolling," just stating the reasons I can see them deleting posts for in general (fighting, harassment, extreme negativity etc).

you'll get a 3 hour ban if anything. they aren't going to perma ban anyone.

I've played a few games in this bracket recently, and all the chat is mostly arguments for and against this talent issue. People are, apparently, actively inspecting friendly talents and presumably reporting them. People are raging about imbalance because of this bad lua function.

I have some news, you are probably not losing the bg because of this talent exploit.

I feel you. Maybe the banwave is real; it's just not the one we expected.
