Possible banwave after the talents exploit.

If a jeweler leaves his store open at night, you're still not allowed to go in and take all the jewelry. It's still theft.

i have reported ppl using it in bgs, so many russias, i have used powershot with MM in gs for couple duels but it sucks and gone back to postaste cuz its not actually worth it(though its really tempting to use dragon roar/holyprism... etc in other chars), magtheridon has been having some arenas action in ring of trials, many f2ps there using script in wpvp and bgs, i guess they need the advantage.

I guess now its good time to play DKs, or do WoLK/Cata raids, achievs.
Sadly for me i gotta farm 800honor points in retpally to get another loom chest to put 16+armor. and i plan to do it without exploit.

treants dots op as fuck.

I remember once i got banned for 3 hours just because some FC jumps in my Chopper having the flag on and i drive him straight to our base.

Funny thing was... i even didn't knew it was an exploit. Stll, minutes later, i was banned.

I remember... :)

Haven't played myself F2P for quite awhile now and those who know me, can vouch for this so, you can't blame me on this one.

Thing is, friend of mine (won't name him for obvious reasons), being annoyed by the abundance of exploiters with the new talent shits, talked to a GM and showed him proof with the exploit, also named all the exploiters he encountered during his battleground adventures during the last days.

From what he told me, the GM assured him that BAN lists are filled as we speak concerning those that exploit the talents.

So, i ask you.. those with rare items like Shadowfangs and stuff.. is worth it to risk your account? It might be a perma-ban, it might be a just few hours ban, no one knows for sure. But i ask again, is worth it?

/peace out
Yea yea your butthurt because a bug get you out of your comfort zone we get it. Stop crying about it. If its bad to the point where you can't play at all just go outside or something. This is a game and it should be considered as so.

But yeah, i'm buthurt, you're a genius :)

This is nothing but fear mongering. I remember talking to a GM about the DK thing after it started and he was telling me a similar thing about keeping an eye on people using the exploit, but nothing ever happened. What else should he tell you? "Do whatever you want as long as it lasts, there are no consequences but we will fix it!"?
I imagine the work that would go into prosecuting exploiters with WoD release coming in a few days would be too exhausting.
Unless people are logging out without resetting their talents to prevent showing the exploit in the armory, they wont have an economic way to find said people. Just reporting someone without having an easily accessible proof wont do anything but raising awareness of the bug.

Trust me, there are many that logged without resetting. Also, from your logic, may i ask you something?

What proof had the GM from my above post besides a report? Still i got banned :)

Of course I dont know whether somethings gonna happen or not - as I said "I imagine".

In your case I think its different than this.
Comparing the situations its obvious, that Blizz is getting flooded with reports on the talent exploit right now. In your case it was a single report on the matter. I bet they have access to some kind of history for every account's activity. In your case the work that had to be put into prosecuting you was comparably small compared to the work that would go into prosecuting everyone using the talent exploit.
For the sake of economic value of prosecuting I guess it just doesnt make sense to do it.

For your sake I hope your IP masking skills are better than your info masking skills, because making more than one TI account is gonna get you a for real ban.

Creating Multiple Accounts:
Every person is limited to only one Twink Info account. The creation of any additional account will result in a ban at minimum for the initial account and a permanent ban for the additional account. Continuation of this offense will result in an I.P. permanent ban.
