Paid Character services on a F2P very possible.

people did this back in cata and got banned, i cant believe it works now because its just like other "failed payments" as i said, failed character service = the character gets locked untill you use a valid payment, so things that influence the whole account locked the whole account in the past and should still do it now

guys this isnt rift, invalid payment = ban.. invalid payment for one character service (Faction change, change the realm) = the character gets locked..invalid payment for the whole account = the account gets locked untill you pay the service with a valid payment.. please TI community, use your brain.. only 1 time

What? After the character gets locked you just write a ticket to blizz explaining you had no idea that you were broke and that you want you character transferred back? I've done that in Cata. Geez, have you never heard of this? If you overdraft a credit card that has no money on it, Blizzard won't get any money, simply because the character transfer is faster than the credit card money transfer.

Didn't you read the OP's last reply? They locked a guy's account, but OP called them and had it sorted (downgraded to f2p).
