Have a look: Kyca

Just get the "of the soldier" cloak with str, crit, stam and "savage trodders" (From WC) and it should be ok for the start.

If you're not a human than add an insignia.

You can also go for Foreman's Leggings. But can take a little time.

hi....thx 4 a v usefull guide......i have one problem with a macro u use, i have copied it letter for letter even capitals where used...and it wont work for me...i am an Arms warrior an the macro is for swapping stances and 2hand for 1hand + shield. im hoping u would take the time to revise/look over ur macro and post it again for me....tyvm for the guide an in advance for ur help

You can copy&paste the macro into wow.
Select the macro in the guide and press both keys (Ctrl + C) at the same time.
Then go into wow and into the macro interface. When you have your new macro press Ctrl + V.
Delete the placeholder names for the weapons+ shied. Hold the Shift Key, while you click with the left mouse button on your weapon and it inserts the name of your weapon. So you dont make any typos.

It looks something like this when done.

/equip [equipped:Two-Hand] Emergency Hatchet
/equip [equipped:Two-Hand] Scrap Metal Shield
/cast Defensive Stance
/cast Battle stance
/equip [equipped:Shields] Bloodied Arcanite Reaper

I actually use two buttons to do the job (One to go defensive and one to go offensive) and this is exactly what I have on my warrior.

#showtooltip Defensive Stance
/cast Defensive Stance
/equip Sharpened Scarlet Kris
/equip Shield Against the Evil Presence
/cancelaura Berserking

#showtooltip Battle Stance
/cast Battle Stance
/equip Bloodied Arcanite Reaper

Hope that helps, what Sabzep said is also correct for if you just want the one button.

but what rogue is gona allow to get themselves attacked from behind unless they are teribad :confused:
he has to face you anyway to attack you as well

any mediocre rogue is going to beat a warrior period due to war not having bleeds and slows yet low level rogues always kinda beat warriors even through later on warrior>rogue

I like how its a 2 button class now you got ur charge and then your tclap and that stupid mortal strike. Whos idea was it to put a endgame spell to a level 10

Wish they brought the buring crusade warriors to the twink scene

I also don't think any mediocre rogues are going to allow themselves to get charged because as a rule as thumb you stay on warriors...no charge=no rage

that's the reason they added heroic leap to the game as intervene wasn't really workin and warriors actually had a hard time against rogues for a few patches(who are supposed to hardcounter them)


if its 2vs1 well that is a different story when he is fighting someone else as any1 can do 2vs1s

A warrior has a bit of an upper hand in that he can force a charge on the rogue with Double Time, given he has an enemy target close enough to use as his first Charge.

Which is actually easier than you might think; for instance, you can charge rats at Farm in Arathi Basin.

It would be really helpful to hear what strategies other players use for Prot Warrior in switching between battle and defensive stance.

as prot you will want to be in def stance most of the time, but in situations where you want to squeeze out more dps (or get more rage) you can switch to battle stance in between shield slams to get the rage off your white hits

use this macro so you will always be in def stance when you shield slam so you get the +20 rage (as long as def stance isn't on cooldown) and then manually switch to battle stance while shield slam is on CD

#showtooltip shield slam
/cast defensive stance
/cast shield slam

bit tricky to do at first but its not that hard to get down

bear in mind the damage increase is marginal as heroic strike hits for like nothing and you should only use it in situations where you aren't taking damage or it doesn't really matter if you do

as a general rule you should only ever be in battle stance to get rage off white hits, at all other times you should be in def stance

I am always going to say shield, because it is just more conventional, especially now because we are getting closer and closer the the next xpac.
