Few methods:

(If you only bought the helmet, not the account)
1. i) Make a new account with the same name as the account with the helmet
ii) Transfer a character with the helmet to your new account
iii) Use the helmet on that account
iiii)*Extra possible step: Bnet name change to your account, then move char from new account to your account.

(If you bought the account with the helmet)
2. i) Use 3rd party or try yourself for a Bnet name change
ii) Use the Bnet name change to change the account with the helmet to be under your name
iii) Transfer the character with the helmet to your account.

No real way to 'get around it', so you are going to have to pay for at least one character transfer, and possibly someone to do a Bnet name change. Would probably cost around ~$100 from start to finish, with the chance that the Bnet name change wont work. Also, OC stopped letting sellers list Bnet name changes in the Buy/Sell/Trade section so good luck finding a reputable seller for the service.

It is 24s btw... no need really.

Then there gunna look into what other accounts that name is attached to.
