So what gave you 3mil vengeance on LK?
Do you have passive 70% mastery or only with windsong?Put simply, a rather massive error in the formula that calculates vengeance. It's there (and I imagine not completely worth the gain to fix since it's such a "big" error), but it has a niche of basically only protection paladins with extremely-high mastery levels, which are only obtainable at 80.
You can easily get over that (bearing in mind you need as much as possible since the rabbit (I think) counts as 93 (means you need 133%)
Does inscription do anything at all? Considering you can't use new shoulder enchants until 85, its only bonus would be the cata enchant. Alchemy+lw is probably the way to go.I am pretty sure the 119.5% mark can be reached easily with gear, but I am unsure about the 133% mark. At this point, I would need about 29% more avoidance - which may be only possible with H ICC 25 (helm, gloves, belt), H RS 25 (boots), and a swap from Inscription to Alchemy - and even then, I am unsure if thats enough to put me over.
At 174 mil health, given about 20k dps for an 80 (which would need to stack 22.5% hit, 30% expertise roughly), it would take over 2.5 hours to solo... and thats if his ability can be dodged/parried and that nobody attempts to reset him on you. Sounds like someone might have their work cut out for them if they want to attempt it.
Inscription does give a benefit. Although Alchemy/Leatherworking is better for pure avoidance.
It does go up by 11% per level for casters (up to a certain cap, like 95% miss is the maximum IIRC), but for melee its 1.5% per level all the way (for miss, dodge and parry each).Yes, Vengeance will shoot through the roof. My concern is landing consistant hits on a mob 13 levels higher. I can't find any tables showing +4 and +5 levels above for melee hit/expertise, but for casters, its around 28% hit needed for +4, 39% needed for +5. If it follows linerally after +5 at the same rate between +4 and +5, a caster will miss 100% of the time against a mob +11 levels above with 0 hit rating.
