Blizz is VERY quick to add higher Level requirements to items once it's found that Twinks are using them with regularity. Sure, there are exceptions but not many. This is especially true of Vendor gear, which usually don't even make it 24 hours after a new XPac launches.

I have a 3/6 one and it’s 47ilvl. The correct level req of this item should be 38-39. (39/99 world drop is 47ilvl) It just doesn’t have a req because it’s glaives. No way to use on a lowbie till now

There's so much fucked up shit on Beta that Blizz has a ton of work to do before Launch. Tool Tips don't remotely match the Level once you craft things, on any Profession I've tested.

The main takeaway from this is that I'll have:
lvl 10 twinks
some odd choice of twink lvl between 27-35 based on how gems scale and secondary stat scaling. Also I noticed wod trinkets are pretty good, too.

im tellin yall, level 10 DH twink is gonna require doing the zone on an vet account, xferring to an active account for chants/gear/whatever and then xfering back to the vet account.

Ok I went through the first bit of the DH zone, was super careful only killing the small demons/quest mobs. Didn't do the bonus world quest. I'm 10.5 and not near the end, at all :-/

Group with a 2nd that doesn't care about the XP, death run most of the Starting Zone, then see what Level you are when you get out? That's what we had to do for Level 99 DH Twinks.

So I decided to check out what my Grandfathered Crescent Staff would look like on Beta and I gotta say it's not bad at all. Sure, the Artifact Weapon is superior but still nice.
