more than likely they want more people (b2p, p2p, and f2p) to experience the end game rather than enjoy the current content that the community favors. it will be interesting to see if investors are going to continue to pay for the wow token to the end game vets after the next possible number drop (if there is any after the supply/demand problem occurs).
going to be guessing that they want new recruits to feel welcomed to the game more by having the option to be on par with everyone that they come into contact with in pvp. this will definitely bring a warglaive of azzinoth for overwatch in legion.

I am going to presume that you only play in the 20-29 bracket.
There exists more than one twinking PvP bracket in WoW believe it or not.

Believe it or not, there are lot of gold poor players out there. Either they don't know how to make gold, don't care to make gold, don't know how to save gold or for whatever reason. People will continue to pay real money to play. It is cheap entertainment. It costs more to go to a movie than it does for an entire month of WoW.

well i don't think that this feature gonna mess with "twinks" as fellow twinker said if they wanted to get rid from twinks they had their chance to do it at wotlk, squish stats was something that made to shrink the differences 1-90 and overpower the 100... like they do on every expansion... way more powerful was 60 at vanilla, 80 at wotlk, 70 at tbc and etc... even if they apply changes i think that only pvp res/pow will be removed, the reason maybe that they do this is cause at endgame if you try to get late at pvp the differences with pvp gear are huges and suddenly bracket have a feeders inside...
the bad thing is that blizzard want customers so they nerf game to make it accessible to new players... they made builds too limited with talents type tic tac toe and spec specific builds, they added rdf teleporters, heirloom to exp faster, added quest helper fixed at game, they added mounts at 20, they putted also a chopper that is rideable at lvl 1 for those that have heirloom achievements... they removed reforge cause people were using the same builds(irony)... they also removed skills to make classes easier... the funny think is that even if they made game easier didn't work like they want and leads to dropped subs... may they think that lore suck and if they launch a nostalgic expansion it will work but nostalgia doesn't gonna bring subs back for too long...

Yes his maths may be disgraceful but the valid point is
- twinking plays a big roll in wow
- enchants are needed in order to add an element of competitiveness to the game.
For once you guys could actually change something in wow instead of just fishing for likes - correcting spelling - and looking for flaws in posts.

Twinking is about perfection and seeking it for your toon. It may come from your achievements (they removed it with account bound achiev killings lvl One twinks), it may come from you gear (not removed but less impact thanks to scaling / heirlooms) , PvE solo feats at low level (removed with the removal of Hit), earlier raid content (trivialized by power creep each expack on twinks) and it may come from you enchants (still good but scaling now) for example.
If you're only seeking to be a standart low level toon with no BiS gear / enchants and play pvp to prove your skill, that's fine, but it has nothing to do with what twinking is all about. The only thing you "twink" is your pvp skill then, and you're better off to HL where you get arena ratings at least to do this kind of thing.
It might be the way i see it but personally twinking as always been about getting your twinks BiS and achieving the extraordinary be it in PvP or PvE. If there is no more gear / no more chants then there is no more twinks.

This is still a viable option for 10+, just not many know how to do it and it ONLY shows the individual Character's Achievements in Armory if you select it correctly.
Esc > Interface > Display > "Display Only Character Achievements to Others"

If these changes do take place twinks will find a way to separate themselves from the rest of the pack. No chants and no trinkets? Then weapons with Dots and procs built in are the next wave. Better start farming.

One alternative if this is implemented could be to avoid instanced pvp content and to stick to WPvP and some FFA PvP zones like Gurubashi Arena, Nagrand Arena etc. Problem is we then open ourselves to HL preying & ganking and we lose access to battlegrounds. The positive side would be that we could get the whole US on 1 single server & same for EU while enhancing the community feel of our niche.
For players who dislike arena like me this is not ideal though.
This way we can get around Bli$$ard pvp plan for Legion at least.

You are seeing this wrong. By making the xp on and off feature blizzard opened up a whole new way to twink. Blizzard made this to give an impression to the general players that they removed twinks for marketing purposes but this system doesn't create a seperation of twinks and normal players. It actually opened up room for the stop and go twinks in leveling battlegrounds and punished players who want to play at a certain level.
While I agree with your posting mostly there is a thing that you are missing here and is the fact that twinking is not only about bis twinking. For you this way of thinking might be caused by that you came to this game very late and do not know any better then that bis twinking is the only twinking in wow (ahum lvl 10s - 20 -50s already the exception) while twinking in wow just refers to enhancing your character with gear and enchants which are not normal for its level and/or given items by higher lever characters. Perfecting your toon is a form of twinking and called bis twinking and there are no limitations about at which level twinking can be performed.
Taken stuff out of this game doesn't mean twinking is going to die but the nerfing is real big caused by taking and removing some of our toys and this one looks very huge and yes you might going to think about if it is going to die? but it wont cause people will still play and accept the changes without standing up for the play style we love.. Its always going like this and wont change now. People just dont care that much sadly and to be honest starting to care now is just to late, so much has been destroyed already in prveious years and xpacs for them to set it straight. Just trying to keep these changes from happening now is not an option because they are walking on the destruction path for several xpacs now and are all planned. You may try but I doubt it will bring any succes.
