Starting twinking 19s and 39s in BC in 2007 so not that new, but i agree with what you said :)

Question is: if this is implemented, how will the twinking crowd evolve? I love PvE content on twinks so that's fine for me (as long as Blizz stops removing content left and right) but if i only cared about pvp i would be worried tbh.

The problem with this question is actually will blizzard merge the 2 bracket systems of locked and unlocked pvp.

If they keep it this way the locked xp twink community will still go downhill no matter how many GG19s and twinkcups are going. The amount of players and the player pool to recruit from is non or hardly existent because there is a good alternative way to twink, stop and go twinking in leveling battlegrounds. Xp on pvp is much, much more active and attractive. Not to mention endgame pvp is pretty similar to low level pvp compared to the older days.
If they will merge these 2, then yes we might be able to evolve and strenghten the numbers by alot due to recruitment options in battlegrouns although we can't show our shiny stuff anymore and our twinks are not more powerfull anymore then any other leveler, then it won't evolve and grow seeing that the stop and go twinking (in that case just leveling) has more benefits. Leveling, pvping gaining honor seems like way more attractive to me and not to mention the active twinkers we have now are elitists and/or realm change or make a new character on populated servers and is not a good thing for other realms.

No matter about what we speculate though blizzard is not going to stop this and not change it. They are on the destruction path to kill twinking totally now. Casual player > Niche play style player and sadly chosing for the casuals destroys the niche play style. I used to have a 200+ man level 19 twink guild started in classic grew large in tbc and persisted through wotlk with the occasionally 29 in it, thats all just gone and people do not have interest anymore due to changes. Just a handfull plays these days.

In CN server exp in battlefield can be avoid so it's heaven of twinks.
In CTM/MOP U79 and U84 had a crazy time, 308VS1XX or 4XX vs 3XX.
As far as I see, in 7.0 twinks may gain a lot of PVP ability while common low-level character haven't.
U19 would be crazy.

If anything... My twink that I've spend hundreds of thousands of gold on would be a rather nice banker toon if it all goes to crap. But in the end I just enjoy the twink community and even if we aren't gonna be as strong as we are now we can still play together and own together lol. Plus it still looks cool to have all that gear on your character... Even it it scales the same they know you mean business.
 
Everyone at the same level of playing(with no unfair advantages in equipment) is the basic principle of any really competitive game of any genre, there is no roflstomping of newbies who enter bgs unaware of these faggots; except in some of the MMOrpgs(not all), like WoW.
With these changes there will be no more trolling of newbies, if you want to stomp, you will have to show you are really that good and deserve it, and not just geared, it will be really much, much more competitive and much harder for you, 29 bitches, this way, so simply quit WoW completely if you are little crybabies or tards who can't keep up with people at the same level of playing; this way we will have a healthier environment and the game will be much better with less toxic scumbag players like you. So, with this being put, why you still think it can't be fair, like in other games, in MMOrpgs too?

Thank god, now I don't have to worry about gearing my twinks. Great change for anyone that prides themselves at being good at games.
