EU+US Item Level and Stats

I haven't done much testing but in a bg with my hunter I was able to get his Ag +1 by equipping 2 X Rock rings, Mist Goggles and Pendant Necklace. If I take any 1 of those items out it went back to previous Ag. I needed all 4 items. Sorry I can't help as I couldn't see ilvl at which it ticked over. A spreadhsheet would be so helpful :)

Changing gear does not change any stats on my dudu. ilvl not changing anythign out of BG. Enchants also not working out of bg. Not sure if it is intended or just tooltip bug, but stamina enchants are not changing hp for sure.
Outside of BG all enchants(including stam) seem to be working on my druid. I was dueling a rogue and a monk both with double dancing steel and each opener they had double instant procs every duel so i believe that may be broken atm

From what i see - all enchants aren't disabled in pvp for low levels.

Unfortunately it seems like everything I did was later disproven on my rdruid.

I have no idea why the system prefers MH/OH to staff on my mage. The item level is significantly lower but my stats are higher. I could't replicate that on rdruid
This is likely VERY simple to explain though it's something I myself am working on proving too. Blizzard has loosely stated a few times that the BG Stat Template is based not only by your Character Level but by your Class and even Spec. THAT is why you cannot test one Class/Spec against a different Class/Spec and expect the same results. Again, I haven't proven this yet but I'd wager it's correct. I'm working on an extensive Guide for 10's in regards to EXACTLY how iLvL, Weapon Speed and Stats correlate to your chosen Class/Spec (and if there is still ANY way to cheese the system in regards to Enchanting/Embossing/etc) but it's going to take me weeks to get it all done.

To be more clear, what I'm suggesting is this (all numbers are purely for example):

  • Rogue > Assassin: 45 Stam / 40 Agi / 20 Armor / 40 AP
  • Rogue > Outlaw: 52 Stam / 50 Agi / 27 Armor / 60 AP
  • Rogue > Subtlety: 48 Stam / 48 Agi / 24 Armor / 48 AP

The above represents what I believe Blizzard is referring to when they talk about the BG Template being different for each Class/Spec. This is also why it's likely impossible to directly compare a Mage with a Druid even using the same Gear on both.

There is a blue post that explains how it works.

Yeah that's one of the Posts I was referring to. The only problem is it doesn't explain down to a scale of 1 stat, in that it doesn't show how changing one item that is the exact same iLvL as another item (same slot) is changing Main Stat by 1 in some cases. Besides not everyone understands modifiers and it'd be great to have a Thread to look at that says "If you are THIS, and you have THAT, your Stam/Agi/Armor/etc will be XX". This is also why it's going to take me a long while to finish it, as I have to check all Ten of my 10's, on each Spec and with an iLvL set, Loom set (since it's bugged), full set of exactly the Character Level iLvL (15 for 10's), different Speeds of Weapons (for Physical dmg dealers) etc. It's a monumental undertaking tbh.

Can you download this and tell me what your item level is? http://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/dejacharacterstats
My guess is it's between 34 and 40.

I think he's talking about PvP outside of BGs. Blizzard said that would be the case, only instanced PvP do you get this stat template.
Nope, im shocked it has been brought up a lot already but its obviously versatility enchants aren't disabled in instances. Put your versa rings on then swap to non versa rings and your actually see that stat change. I am wondering if this means u can stack versa gear + use the enchants to obtain greater versa. Ive noticed in arenas I have toons with 10% versa from enchants while the ones without the enchants have none.
They are disabled if not provide proof
^
can yall help check this out. im no expert on this stuff but I do think this is worth a look.

Vers is completely gone on my Guardian... I found the stats with DejaCharacterStats and it was 0%/0% for some reason. I don't think I have any other characters with +vers chants to test with.

Edit: Ok I Q'd him as heals, I can see the vers stats this time. It's unchanged by enchants.

Idk what you're testing but this is 100% wrong. Enchants do. not. work. in bgs/arenas. Vers chants, crit chants, flint, warsong, dancing. nothing. The only reason would be if it increased you to the next breakpoint in which I mentioned earlier OR you compare a blank slot to a slot with an item in it

I compared a Ring without any enchants on it to one that did. It changed the amount of versa I had in arenas. This would mean that some enchants might actually have a effect.

No trial... No enchants work in PvP. Unless there's some random GF chant that Blizz overlooked from BC zero enchants work in bgs/arenas. The ONLY reason it would have changed is if, once again, you hit a new breakpoint.

Sorry about being stern but this is exactly why I wanted to do the testing. I just want to let people know so there is no more guessing or assuming

when i get a chance ill record what im talking about and have u dissect it.

@Hashbrowns I made a spreadsheet and realized how much time I wasted by making a spreadsheet. This Ilv thing is so simple

This will be important. BLIZZ BELIEVES EVERY SLOT IS EQUAL. This includes weapons. A 2h weapon gives two times the stats that a helm does. A 1h/OH gives the same stats that pants/ring does. EVERYTHING on the item is useless minus the Ilv.

*This only applies if you are missing slots. This is to get you to that default Ilv 25*

Every one piece of item you equip you gain the same amount of stats. I will provide an example of my hunt. Each class has different base stats so don't look at the stats but look at the INCREASE

Armor, Agi, Stam, AP, Speed, Focus, Crit, Haste, Vers
0, 47, 36, 47, 3.6, 10, 16, 0, 0 Naked
8, 52, 47, 52, 3.58, 10.07, 16.62, .69, .52/.26 1 Slot
16, 57, 58, 57, 3.55, 10.14, 17.24, 1.39, 1.04/.52 2 Slots
24, 62, 69, 62, 3.53, 10.21, 17.86, 2.08, 1.56/,78 3 Slots

Armor is increased by 8.xx
Agi is increased by 5.xx
Stam is 11
AP is 5.xx
Speed is .02x
Focus Regen is .07
Crit is .62x
Haste is .69x
Vers is .52/.26

Once you get every item filled and you are at the default Ilv of 25 each breakpoint slows down your increases dramatically. The only thing that increases once you get to new breakpoints are; Armor, Agi, Stam and AP. The following do not change comparing an Ilv of 25 to an Ilv of 46; Speed, Focus, Crit, Haste, Vers

1st breakpoint: ONLY gives 1 stam
2nd: Gives 1 Armor, agi, Stam, AP
3rd: ONLY gives 1 stam

I am to assume that an Ilv of 52 (what I assume the next brekapoint is) would give 1 Armor, Agi, Stam, AP again.

This means the difference between a toon with every item slot an Ilv 10 or under grey compared to a BIS Ilv 46+ toon is 1 armor 1 agi 3 stam and 1 AP
