it wasnt leaked, people figured it out almost as soon as they learned it was possible.
This has been known to be possible for months now. very few people have figured it out and they're holding onto that secret.
Maybe now that you know its possible, you too will figure it out.

Gonna leak the method to getting these items since I'm not really active anymore:
Step 1: You need to jump on every fence within goldshire in a COUNTER CLOCKWISE direction. If you go clockwise it will just make your loading screens faster (who even wants this?)
Step 2: Pet battle 7 times just outside Stormwind. You need to use the Lil' Ragnaros pet from the pet store. I'm not sure why but it's the only one that works. We tried all the other ones but it didn't work. If you did this step correctly, you'll hear an audible ding sound.
Step 3: /roll until you hit 69 (nice) twice in a row. This step can unfortunately take the longest but it's CRUCIAL. Alternatively you can /roll 10000 and wait until you get 3 of the same digit in a row(trips). Everyone knows that's the only way for OP to deliver.
Step 4: Equip a Shadowfang obtained before the shattering event (you can easily tell based on the font used between both items) with EXACTLY 5 durability, this step is crucial as it will confuse the instance detection system. It's pretty common knowledge that blizzard hates odd numbers.
Step 5: Finally and most crucially you need a spinny chain. Now the trick is to spin as fast as you can while entering the loading screen for the actual instance. If you do it correctly with all the steps above AND spin yourself fast enough you will confuse the blizzard detection system. I usually try to get around 20-30 revolutions per minute. Any more and you risk motion sickness.
Step 6: Congrats you can now freely enter any instance you wish on any character. Enjoy your new loot!

Epic BG grants you a 49 lvl, but for BfA mythic dungeon you need 50lvl atleast. So "invite a friend" function, that gives you a teleport to your friend or something, that can grant you a 50 lvl or higher.

Spill it or don't. The only outcome from spilling it will lead to multiple bans/slap on the wrists, cause everyone will be trying, and toxic gear for at least a month or two before blizzard realizes it. I know people who have the items and they could've easily taken these exploit items into bgs n stuff but didn't, which I respect. I sense doom ahead of this bracket when it begins to spill one drop after another.

Perhaps it’s a missed item that wasn’t removed before logging out?
Also perhaps it’s not super easy to get a toon in there, and it may not be something spammable. Meaning that it might only be possible to get a shot at loot once weekly or monthly.
