I saw a lvl 10 Guide with this item on the list and among other items with similar drop rates .8% I’ve tried farming several and haven’t got a single drop. Can you still get BFA and Legion Epic BoE’s for a lvl 10? .8% is like 1-140 chance and I’ve easily killed 1000+… I would call it bad luck but there was another item similar that I farmed for twice as long and never got that one either. I feel like I’m wasting my time rn

You'll get them eventually. Legion epics aren't really that rare. Getting one to proc soc & tert though...

But you are sure they still drop? The Legion BoE’s on Lvl 10? I’ve been at this for two days straight at least 6 hours each day with 0 so far and they aren’t even that rare according to wowhead

To be honest, I've never tried to farm on a lvl 10, so I cannot personally confirm.
Make sure you are in a group & not solo farming. You'll never get anywhere solo.

Wowhead data is super unreliable as far as drop rates go. Normally BoE epics tend to fall in the 1/5,000-1/15,000 range, and from personal experience I can tell you that's what the drop rate seems to be for Legion epics.

I'm almost certain the epics are still dropping for level 10s. I've seen screenshots of various level 7 epics this expansion which were looted on 10s.



edit: to clarify, 1/15,000 is roughly the chance for any epic to drop. The chances of you getting the epic you actually want is much lower.

If you're inteneded twink is an ally, just make sure it's on the same realm.
You'll want to roll a Vulpera MW monk if you can, as they can https://www.wowhead.com/spell=312370/make-camp on top of the Val Sharah tower where the Demon invasion farm is. ( it's the best ) Any other race option is fine if you don't have em unlocked.

Not that I know of . All databases are going to suffer from data collection issues as Blizzard doesn't provide any information about drop rates themselves.


Also Horde Farmer's Union is a beast farming community. Highly recommend.

You dont need other level 10's unless you want to trade items, you can use any group to get more kills and faster spawns.

You could also save yourself the headache of begging for Purps by farming these one-time drop rings. While their top end is below the Legion Epics, they're a garaunteed drop, & can proc soc & tert.

Yes the Legion Epics drop and yes they're a STUPID low drop rate. I've gotten several in Legion Zones on my 10's. Full disclosure, I haven't played in a while so I can't say 100% positively that some patch in the past year+ hasn't broken their loot table. Best way to get them is by farming gold and buying them off AH.

My main focus is Lvl 10 Twinking. I’ve recently started trying to farm Legion BoE’s and haven’t had any luck. It was brought to my attention I shouldn’t trust Wowhead when it comes to drop rates. With that being the case,

That depends.

Wowhead is a fantastic resource, but you kinda have to just *know* how to read its drop rates/sources.

Some things are world drop BOEs (the legion epics youre farming) and so have a standard, random chance to drop from any mob in that expansion. Looking at wowhead for drop rates and what mobs drop those is... not gonna be accurate.

Other items drop off a specific mob only, and therefore you can generally trust that source but maybe not the drop rate. Keep in mind, a rare mob may only drop its blue loot once per character and may drop it 100% of the time on the first kill, but if a character kills that mob more than once, or isnt the right class/spec for the item to drop well... that skews the drop rate.

Generally speaking, mobs that are the object of certain quests can hyperspawn, so compact and easily navigable areas of high quest mob density have been sought out and established.
