Rshaman needs GEAR to be anything special. You need at least 80% mastery IMO. I'd probably swap my BC drops back to Legion greens but this is a good start https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/us/blackwing-lair/downpour

80% an more mastery, but at cost of what stats? mastery and vers is best combination but from dungeon EQ you gain more INT, is better to have more mastery and less int?

Well its a calculation, but basically, since rsham has 0 spells for aoe healing, its job is gonna be to take someone who is near dead and keep them away from deaths door. This is most useful on an FC which gives the shaman alot to work with their healthpool. The more mastery you have the easier its gonna be to keep them from dying. Crit is also gonna help for those massive heals taking someone from low health to full health but mastery is gonna be the main factor. Int isn't really needed for healing only for damage, youre gonna have enough int just from passive gear. Haste is gonna be good if youre healing people who die easier in pugs and less valueable when healing someone like an FC that can take a beating while you cast. Vers is a defensive stat, its output effect is not enough to outdo mastery or even crit. So itd be purely defensive and you decide how much of that you want.

Im a Mastery addict, I dip everything in it neglecting other stats. I just love classes/specs that benefits dearly from Mastery such as Destro locks. I shall try resto shaman as my 1st ever healing class!

Its not that holy is bad its just, its kinda of a worse rsham. If you want big FC savers, go rsham. If you want to play priest disc is the way.

As usual if we are just healing a target dummy or a single player and you are allowed to just free cast.. MW with mastery ANNIHILATES all other healing. It's not even comically close. Surging Mists with 200+ mastery (gusts of mists) means that you are doing more than 1000 every button press at instant speed.
If we are talking about a PUG that you are winning... Disco does the most damage and healing at the same time.
If we are talking about an even game where you need the best heals with the best tookkit... Disco wins hands down.
All the other heals just fall into the same pot... you want to heal or cast some spells to do damage or hit some stuff or you want to run around as a dog/be on a horse/stink like bear shit... who cares you are doing less than a Disco.

I think hpriest could be good for wargame, where you are 40 yards back. Max mana build looks interesting but with Circle of Flame it's kind of pointless. Lot's of good pvp talent options. If you don't have a team of people coordinating it's probably going to be rougher in pug settings.
