Do you honestly have fun as a F2P in 20-24 battlegrounds?

can i ask the guys who are in favor of arena, if you want to do arena why not do it and stop trying to force it on the whole sever?

also, if you hate bg'ing so much in the bracket why not quit or move brackets?

all forms of arena require you to bg 1st to gear up, even 85 theres no way round it, the amount of honor from world pvp would take months to gear.

ps: some people just don't like arena it as nothing to do being able or not.

I can't speak for others, but I speak highly of arenas because we just simply need more people to do them so we can play them more often.

Also, the bracket is free. Enough said.

And Golden again has the answer... also, at this point, if you've been playing for a bit, there's been so many DMFs it's been so easy to get all your boas anyway.

For serious though, we need to work on debunking this theory that arenas are the hardest thing ever.

Anything I am good at is challenging and therefore an indication of my innate skill. Anything I am not good at is clearly RNG-based which only bads participate in.

I guess people who may qq about bgs sucking don't put effort in alternatives. They will put the time to qq but some will not put the effort for alternative fun.

edit: I think if anyone (myself included) wants to push arenas then we should push for people to learn to play or at least know the know how to arenas and be confident. Just confront people and whisper them to duel or if they need BoA help. Heck if BoAs are a problem once i re install wow (couldn't get rid of constant lua problems and other bugs that came up, repair didn't do anything) I' m going open a free honor service for easy obtainment of BoAs in 3 days tops, just pm me and done. I'm also gonna push helping people with key-binds and etc. I may not be a pro but I know stuff that can help people greatly.

1. Just because Cotus almost exclusively does arenas doesn't make this whole thread about him and what he wants to do
2. Battlegrounds are a small part of what we can do, look around you
3. Botting gives a way for people who don't want to bg a way to gear up, you didn't even read what he said
4. If you learned to read, you would see that people are actually talking about doing world pvp

The way you worded that, you don't even seem to want to hear any other opinion than your own.

The poll was loaded. We already know that you want everyone to participate in arenas instead of BGs. You don't have to make a completely biased poll for us to understand that.

I do like 20-24 BGs very much. I always enjoyed BGs, even during the raid-or-die days of vanilla. The objective-based team PVP of battlegrounds just appeals to me. Even now, as a F2P level 20 against twinked and non-twinked 24s, it's a blast. Sure, there are games that just suck, but that happens. And I definitely enjoy BGs much more than arenas. I just never got into arenas, even when they first came out, promoted as the end-all be-all for end-game PVP. To me, it was nothing more than glorified dueling with more participants. I couldn't get into it to do more than the minimum required 10 games per week to earn points for gear. I have done some arenas as a F2P and I don't notice much difference from way back when. So, yeah, I'll stick with BGs.

Side note, I would like to ask how many people that voted yes actually pug on a class like a mage or ele shaman, instead of something like a paladin. Rolling an op class in an unbalanced bracket is always fun, go do it with something else and try having as much fun as you do.

Cotus, what was the point of making this thread? To dispute a claim i made earlier? I already told you the majority of f2ps still enjoyed bgs and if they choose to do arena on the side or whatever else have you then that's their choice and theirs alone.

Honestly if you don't like BGs anymore then that's fine but leave others and their decisions to themselves. No one wants to argue or dispute what they want to do for fun so just leave it alone.
