its fun for noobs (it's fun for me
I pretty much only played healers when i played 19sKek...
What would be better is if some of these DPS "noobs" )you all's words not mine) tried rolling heals instead of DPS.
Healing is where it is at!
I found out yesterday evening how exactly it works, it's just another instance/phasing thing.
When you enter the area there are either;
1. Warmongerer guards.
2. Wraithguard Servitor guards (these drops the blade, none of the other mobs do).
All you can do is pray for the 2nd one, cause then you can farm ~2-3 every 10 minutes. No need to kill any other mobs either.
While these swords are by far Bis for most brackets, they dont seem particularly Op, not game-breakingly so atleast.
It still hardly seems overpowered in a bracket where priests are gods and warriors can destroy any class 1v1 (19's specifically)... Just my opinion though. Its really only for outlaw rogue that it becomes OP. Everything else is a relatively small ilvl boost (maybe .5% stats or something). Mainhand outlaw rogues it doubles their ability damage.

Last few games I played, I had a pair of Common Legion Blades on my 19. I definitely saw a noticeable damage difference, but it wasn't overwhelming. In those last few games, arms warriors with ilvl 27ish gear were doing shitloads of damage. They were easily topping damage on the leaderboard. I saw one 2 shot another rogue who was wearing mostly BoAs with his parry up(though I think he had a few empty slots in his loadout.)Opening with a 1500 ambush puts them from strong to pretty OP. Makes rogues much better at quick kills and flag returns.
Are warriors really that strong? Arms or fury? I haven't played them yet in legion. Side note, prot warrior can make good use of the legion blade. Might even make them viable given their crazy stun talents.
Ive tried it on 10 rogue and 19 rogue, and was unimpressed on the 19. while it did boost damage a little, it really shines on the 10.
Still, its not ground breaking. Geared priests are still a pain in the ass. If you guys look on Wowhead, there are other items to be found with the same ilvl and no req. level in Legion, weapons and gear. Looks like there is 1 of each type of item for each class. Looking more like an Easter Egg basket from Blizzard for us. Happy hunting.
You just know it's meAnd I've seen an arcane mage top the board a few times too, which seems odd to me.
ty for gold thothey don't matter at all for monks, we don't benefit from the slow atk speed and the ilvl still don't bring us over the cap
Did they noramlize weapon speed in instanced PvP? Not feeling a huge impact of the swords like I did the first game I played (literally only played 2 games, but were many days apart)
3.46 attack speed and 1.1k ambush tooltipNot that I know of, but I haven't used the sword (or played 19s in the past few days) . Your character sheet in a BG/arena should show you your weapon speed. Also take a look at the ambush tooltip damage. It should be around 1350 with the legion blade IIRC. If your char sheet's dps or weapon speed is showing 2.6 or w/e, then they may have normalized it. If the legion blade ambush damage is far away from 1350, then thats a trigger that something was fixed as well.

Ambush is hitting for ~600 though
