6.0 PTR is up, this is what we've all been waiting for!

The character copies are not currently working (down for maintenance), but if you have old characters copied there already, they will be there when you log in (mine were).

I'm currently on my 29 boomy on Broxigar. A few things have changed:

No more Faerie Fire (doh).
No more instant Star Surge.
Eclipse has changed from a static buff to Arcane/Nature damage that shifts a fixed amount on each spell cast, to a buff that will start shifting on the first spell cast in combat and shift all the way from Moon to Sun (or vice versa), even if you aren't casting spells.
Starsurge now has 3 charges (30 sec recharge).
Shooting Stars refreshes a Starsurge charge.
Aquatic Form is gone


Still have:
Wrath
Starfire
Moonfire
Starsurge
Solar Beam
Rejuve
Healing Touch
Entangling Roots

Enchants are mostly the same, with exception to proc enchants. Power Torrent procs for 29 int, Jade Spirit procs for 21, Dancing Steel procs for 26. I haven't tested others yet, but leave your questions here and I'll test it if I can.

Base health @ 29 is 1272
Max health with my current gear is 4464, I can easily get more.
Stam appears to give 23 HP per 1 point. @ 29.
Damage numbers seem to be about the same, but crit chance is significantly lower. When I do crit, it's for a lot, especially with certain buffs up.
Healing numbers are also pretty high.
Mana to chest enchant probably irrelevant now, can't seem to OOM.

Character sheet stats rearranged to have more relevant data showing in some boxes.
Dodge/parry still present on low level items (not sure if they drop that way though).

Launch the Mists of Pandaria PTR client, it will auto update, then you'll see the warlords login screen once the game launches.

AFAIK the character copy is still down, so if you have any old copies from past PTRs, they'll be there.
 
AV and eye of the storm at lvl 20 O: also all my shoulder and leg enchants seem to be removed

I did copy several toons back in cata for the MoP ptr :) Thank you for explaining!

Ive been dreaming about Franchi in av since BC.

In other news I think colossus might be under appreciated sure it only procs for ~400 that I can tell but the proc rate is over the top

Colossus procs for 119 dmg absorb.

I'm pretty sure Cata and MoP enchants are not going to be BiS in many cases.
 
So my 28 prot warrior is insane on beta atm. At 455 ap (277 bonus armor) I have 3 times more AP than as Arms/ fury. In fact arms and fury are completely useless verse prot now.

My devastate (1 hander) is hitting twice as hard as mortal strike (2 hander).

Prot is also the only spec to have 2 snares. Aoe snare from thunder clap + glyph of hindering strikes (gives HS a 50% snare for 8 seconds). Since your only rage dump is HS and shield block, you're getting a lot of snares in, giving prot the highest time on target. Heroic strike is replaced by mortal strike for arms and it's replaced by bloodthirst for fury.

Oh shield slam hits like a wet noodle but all your other abilities hit like a truck. Shield slam is just for rage generation now (20 per). Or I guess you could glyph it to dispel one magic buff but you'd be giving up your best snare.

Vibro blade just became godly. It now reduces armor by 94. When it procs verse the elites in RFC I do roughly 25% more damage. Most non-prots have garbo armor values in wod and -94 will put most people on zero. Where as my prot has 535 armor total (55.6% reduction) so it doesn't matter as much if I lose 94.

For spriest the Glyph of Mind Harvest has been nerfed, still gives dem orbs but also now has a built in extra 6 sec cd for MB, which could be devastating, I still need to test it a bit more but character copies are down *ARGH*
 
About armor for prot: does it mean +40 armor kits from vanilla is BiS enchant everywhere you can put them ( chest, legs, gloves, boots?). Do they still give +40 armor?

Yes but you have to use the +24 ones for 20-29. I'm also using +90 to cloak, green iron bracers (+16), double link tunic (+21), shield of thorsen (+18), +30 armor to shield enchant.

Just tested my 28 prot paladin twink.....yeah forget about prot warriors and vibro blades lol.

1400 -1500 avenger shield and harsh word crits with a crusader proc. Judgement is critting 970 ish without crusader. All holy damage, vibro blade not required.

I have 3.8 k hp (not stacking stamina)
455 attack power (wasn't wearing double link tunic, so missing 21 more AP)
256 bonus armor
21.41 % crit (I'm just missing the LFD necklace of the soldier)
455 spell power (can spam flash of light for days)

Enchant superior strength to bracer (+9 strength) is now superior to the former +19 AP (it's now +9). Why is +9 str > +9 AP? Well glyph of the mounted king casts blessing of kings on you (+5% str) when you mount your paladin class mount.

Stacking armor off a bunch of green/blue items with no other stats is gimping your health.
 
Tested 28 fire mage....dmg is total garbage compared to prot.

I stacked crit, managed to get 25.99% crit. It's not enough for fire. Windsong got nerfed hard, think it was +19 haste / crit rating. Would need to go back to sunfire.
At 220 spell power my tooltip dmg for pyro is 410 - 510. Just can't compete with prot pallies.

And because +90 armor to cloak enchant does not work for non-tank, I have 59 armor (12% mitigation), vibro blade or strike of the hydra would make my armor zero.. Yeaaaaah not playing him.

You're clueless. There is literally nothing to be gained at lvl 29 unless you have a grand fathered deadman's hand. Gimping my health? lol. Like I care with 465 attack power (changed my chest, that's why numbers are different).
 
Hmm my 28 brewmaster has 5 k hp and kegsmash is critting for 2.5 k.

Surging mist >>> flash heal. Dam wasn't expecting a brewmaster to be better than prot pally.

Mongoose is 47 agil 12 haste.

Potion of minor defense (50 armor) does also give 50 attack power for tanks.

I've been trying to get on my rogue to test weapon enchants out but I can't copy anyone over :/ I'll post what I find when I can though.
