Hello, I'm brand new to the level 39 twinking bracket so I have 0 reference to go off of. I'm between playing a druid or hunter twink. I know both could be strong but I have no idea how powerful either of them could be.

I'd love to hear some feedback on either of these classes and get some other peoples input.

Unless you really like running flags or healing I wouldn't roll a Druid. If you're not really good at running flags you might not like it because you're going to be up against crazy shinanigans. If you want to learn all the jumps and master carrying though it's a great bracket to do it in.

Oh boy. I'll link you the "why". There is a LOOONGGG discussion about which one is better and the math gets real fugly quick. Basically it comes down to gun having a better vender source of ammo and the bow's searing arrow effect proccing scatter shot. But it's more complicated than that; if you're supremely decking out a twink, the bow is better if you can farm ammo and do a swap macro to cancel the effect on scattershot. Its pretty damn close the big draw back for the bow is farming arrows from uldaman where you can just craft ammo for the gun - plus the proc from bow breaking scatter every now and then - honestly hunters do good enough damage you can just pick whatever you prefer

Druid is the best FC and Hunter is arguably the best class to counter a Druid FC; i.e. both are high-impact classes in WSG. Like Outofspace said it's not a great idea to roll Druid unless you aim to learn the relevant jumps and actually be a good FC--if you want be a healing or DPSing as a Druid you're much better off rolling a non-hybrid class instead. Hunters make decent FCs too.

The real question is. Can horses jump competitively IRL? The answer is yes.

Horses cannot jump competitively in WoW. All horses jump the same in WoW. Just as the devs intended. An equal playing field. If you can show me all classes and all races making the same jumps, then we can talk.

TBH nobody that's good at the game will ever even acknowledge someone that cant do jumps. Positioning is literally everything in this game and the sooner people realize that the better.

I most certainly never had interest in your guild either lmao. I have <The Vatican> willing to take me in and they're most certainly a thousand times better than you.
and even then, 39 is not my priority and I am not interested in playing that bracket right now. I have other projects to work on

I dont join random guilds or guilds that recruit to the public. I'm a piece of talent & a rare commodity to the twink scene and I will treat myself as such by only playing for either A) myself or B) a reputable guild with respected & credible players. Unfortunately, this is not you. And as your recruitment thread suggest, I have 0 interest, as I am not an average joe.

Druid's are typically going to be thrown into the flag carrier box, as it is the role they excel with. If you're interested in playing as a DPS, I'd recommend going with hunter. Hunters are extremely mobile and offer a dependable amount of crowd control, a high damage output & cast delay. Can't go wrong with a hunter TBH.

Druids are semi-decent support healers though, but nothing compared to Paladins/Priest.
