Bracket Dying?

I'm seeing a ridiculous amount of 24s on both sides; people are complaining about 24s all day. A lot of the better known trials just don't play anymore. Is the bracket dying?

I am seeing too many 24s and more hunters i hope it doesnt die :(

The bracket is very active and has very fast queue pops. The 24s certainly aren't killing the bracket as far as making people stop playing goes. As far as complaining about hunters and 24s, and worse still 24 hunters, that's nohting new. That said, the 4.3 hunt buff hurt quite a lot and the last one didn't help either.

As for some of the better known players quitting, this was inevitable. Most people lose interest. It was never going to be a permanent thing for everyone, just because it's free.

Well when I say the bracket I mean being able to queue into a BG and find 2-3 other players on both sides that are good enough to make the game fun. All my games so far have been my team farming their GY or their team farming my GY.

It depends on the people playing. Everyone would GY farm the entire 25 minutes in the beginning of F2P, and I've personally noticed this happening far less often. Of course if my own side are junk I simply leave, so rarely get GY farmed myself. I have joined in the middle of a game where it was happening, and if I can, I take a few out before I go, but if the other side are working together well, then that's not always possible.

The real solution to GY farming is to stop being farmed. Whether that means you collectively stop ressing or leave the game, the result is the same. You no longer get farmed.

Had a lot of really good games just last night, so I wouldn't say that the bracket seems dead.

At any rate if the 24s get too out of hand the solution would be for everyone who wants 24-free games to roll on AP and just wargame.

Has anyone actually gotten 10v10 wargames to work? Last time I read anything about it, it wasn't working.

I have been pugging alot lately, dont really know why when I have the opportunity to be premading haha. But I have noticed the games have gotten ALOT harder, there is an increase of the 24's and hunters, but I think it is just a wave. It will go down again in a couple weeks (I hope). Have gotten lucky with some of my pugs and had some decent teams manage to squeeze a win in. We still have premades going, I am seeing quite alot of games where I have atleast 1 0r 2 AP alliance guys in.

Also noticed less gy farming in pugs lately. But also an increase of 24's on both sides.

I don't think the bracket will die before MoP.

With MoP we will see if the bracket will die or become more attractive.

Personally i think we will see a lot more disbalance in MoP in this bracket because of what
i have seen so far with talent ideas.
We will consider the bracket @ the actual state as far more balanced in review.

My only hope is that f2p moves on to a higher level cap and no round number.

Concerning premades:
AP Horde premades are only funny when you play against decent ally teams (including some 24's).
A 10 man premade wsg against random pug is boring as hell.
Thats the reason why i pug more than premade (although i like challenging premades).

Just my thoughts

I completely agree that a premade against randoms is just plain boring. Let's not pretend it's about class imbalance or any other silly excuse. I've played with AP against randoms and it was over in a few minutes and was literally no challenge at all.

The MoP talents are in the very early stages. They've changed many times and will continue to, both before the release, and I expect after as well. It's not like it's completely balanced now. Hunters are OP, and several other classes are severely UP, even BiS and in the hands of a skilled player.
