His items are better for veterans. On pure f2p the shoulders, head and weapons among others things would need to be replaced indeed.

Northrend Engineering for belt? I don't get it. you can't learn Northrend engi at 20-29. Adding tinkers to a belt makes it persinal.
When pre-patch first hit you were able to, but now given that your engi is over 250, you can do the trade window glitch for the frag belt.

Just check the shaman one. Change gloves to brawlers and legs to scouting. Everything else is pretty much the same except leather bg crates instead of mail and offhand instead of shield, that kinda stuff.

OK, here goes. I've tried Flag Carrying, done OK at times, and would like to gear better for this expansion, so have tried to turn the recommendation above into a guide, which is below.

I've made use of plenty of guides on this site and so am happy to create this one as others can't spare the time to do the whole thing.

It's not created based on anything I know myself - only received wisdom, so no doubt I will have made mistakes and misunderstood something. It needs peer review.

It's therefore an altruistic gesture and meant to be a group effort, so please do comment and please be nice - I'll update as I get time. Hopefully what will evolve will be a good beginner set to aim for.

If I get abuse I'll just delete it. If someone creates a better one, I'll also happily delete it, but for now it's filling a gap.

Thats about it. Had a quick glance, might look closer later but main thing I saw now is. The neck you want for FCing is neither of the love necklaces you linked but https://www.wowhead.com/item=143909/sweet-perfume-brooch&bonus=5134 because it has more versatility.

I have totally overseen that the shoulders can only be enchanted by another character
for legs Fortified Leggins of the Quickblade are better than heirloom
for feet Krom'gar Sergeant's Mesh boots are better than Greenhorn's Footguards, the now obtainable version only gives 5agi 8 sta, depending on your stat wighting, 2AGI > 3-5versa
for hands Fortifield Gauntlets of the Quickblade could be better than Thorbia, but you need a near perfect 5/4 pair to beat the 3 AGI difference

If that enchant works on those legs, you're right. The boots are horde only so I'm guessing that he is Alliance and wrote from that perspective. Fortified gloves are 4/4 or 5/3 never 5/4.

Provisionally done subject to comment.

yeah that was roughly the set I was thinking, but was curious because I have yet to see a perfectly scaled scouting trousers. So do u think the loss of armor would be worth the stam/vers gain from a 6/3 pagan britches same thing with gloves. Wouldn't magefist scaled be better?

Everything else I agree on, maybe argue for aurora belt instead tho /shrug.

Thanks for this.

I have a pair of Level 24 Scouting Trousers of the Aurora with the following stats:

Int - 6
Sta - 9
Has - 5
Ver - 4

Over to the experts for comment - I'll add these options unless I hear advice to the contrary.

These are the scaled versions fyi

From what I gather armor is quite important as a druid which is why leather is chosen über alles. If it is better than versa I dont know, maybe magefist is better than brawlers but pagan not better than scouting. Superior belt is probably better than gnomish when stacks start getting higher and you dont have the on use available anymore.

As for armor or versa value on a druid ask someone like @Chainz

Taking armor / versa all depends on if you face physical dmg dealers or non physical. If the enemy team is primarily physical dmg than you should go for armor > versa. Now if you face a team almost full of casters, etc.. then armor has little to no use and you'd want versa > armor.

I have 4 sets before 6+ stacks and 2 sets after 6+ stacks (just for fcing) all depending on what type of team I'm facing. It all depends how seriously u wanna gear up in the end.
