Hi. I do arena sometimes...
The ladder is good, and great job making it. There are some flaws that really can't be avoided due to the nature of the skirmish system that others here have mentioned.
-Those that get hurt & queue with a hunter to boost themselves/kill another team if they lose. Or, queue with an actual level 60 (I believe it downscales to 29, but still ridiculous). Example player(s)/guilds guilty on both counts - Gorecki/Bluntqt/Paragonx. The guild Stuck At Graveyard. Really scummy, guys.
-App isn't certified
-Echo what Bop said regarding +1 -20
-EU & US are combined. Why? We can't compete against each other.
-Players either don't update their rating if it falls
-Players just haven't bothered adding themselves to the ladder (<---guilty)
-The ladder would significantly benefit from wider visibility with xpoff, which I did mention to you via discord at one point - a lot of these issues fix over extended periods of time with a larger population being involved. As is, the ladder really consists of the same few people and their alts
-Also consider those who believe they're at the top of the ladder may just have no motivation to queue, which gives the impression of inactivity
It's a fun concept, but I'm not sure what we're competing for at the end of the day, there's no reward in it. I have not played all that much lately, but with the time I do, I find myself with very little motivation to do skirmishes & just do war games with friends.
Regardless:
I personally appreciate all the hard work and effort that went into this and I'm going to keep using it and queueing arenas because that's where I find the most joy in game currently
Thank you again for putting this together!
