people might look at my toon and think, wow damn, how can this guy have so much vers and self-heal?

they don't realize i copied my toon onto PTR probably 50 times while doing research and comparing what's good and what's not.

hard work paid off.

(discussion with warglave in the form of yelling at each other while figuring out things together also helped greatly, have to admit that)

Side observation for 30s xp on regular BG leveling. The org/stormwind gold vendors really nice rare ilvl 41 level 30 gear didn't change, so the gear is now low tier. Compared to heirlooms at L30 being ilvl 82 and epics ilvl 115.
 
Got an indestructible proc on a helm in ramparts on live.... still cant count on it being a change cuz it's dropping level 30 gear. 3 runs of deadmines got zero procs from proper-level drops, feeling that it might just be whatever is borked is borking upgrades too. Hoping someone gets a useable upgrade on live soon, from anything but WoD BFA and SL.

Also fun fact every classic dungeon drops level 30 gear but for some reason Deadmines and Shadowfang Keep drop level 20 loot.
It honestly makes me feel like it has to be fixed and our beloved ilvl 87 aren't GF just yet, maybe there is hope...
 
Those 2 dungeons count as Cata dungeons, i think... not a reason, just a coincidence.

So got some TBC gear on a 30 and the speed bonus from the gems drops off pretty steep pretty quick. Only got 1-2 more gems than we had here and was only getting maybe 2% per gem at that point, probably looking at maybe 35% max from it?

Additional, i mean. Hunter is siting at 162% in trailblazer with minor speed on boots, might get 10ish more gems?

Gonna try a few more runs for more slots but not gonna put too much into it. Fun mechanic tho. PepeLaugh

edit- OK.... new long term plan. Looks like ulduar is scaling, not sure wtf they changed for DF concerning that, but if the old raid is still available then there's tons of multisocket drops in there. Could squeeze out a good chunk more, even tho only getting 1.5% speed per gem now at 1666 regen. Irrelevant for 29....... except maybe speed running yourself inside chromie time wih this badass new ilvl. Sololing dungeons easy on my 29 ret, hopefully easier at 30-35 or thereabouts.

Since they wrecked my level 15 carry twink in mostly BoE greens! :mad:

Just putting this here to remember the short-lived but fun dungeon farming. "Never once used any of this gear in any form of PvP"

I feel like as a Twink if you are serious about your toon, it's better to obtain and lose over not ever obtaining at all in the off chance it stays.

The problem with broken gear is that you just become a clown-meme quickly these days - you are not dealing with the same old school crowd that is impressed with your inferno robe. The most impressive people to watch play are the ones that just wear garbage and still make it work.

Something is going on with the broken greens at least... they are now level 1 if you had any on... but you can put on a new item level 158 and its 158 again :D.

Getting the 112 gear nerfed down to 86 is just the next step to make the bracket not a joke show for dumb kids.
