Iam very surprised you don't know anyone who have boosted people for gold, dose not make sense you have never heard of this practice...
If you read, my entire point was that end game achievements are not always 'deserved' they can be negotiated.
So getting upset 70, 80 etc have achievements you don't and they didn't 'deserve' can just as easily be associated with end gamers that have brought and paid for theirs..
My point about Arena Master was that it was the only title that could be achieved by twinks. Unfortunately making it a joke title.

I have never once bragged about my ratings or claimed to be great at pvp, no one here is saying that...

Iam generally a nice quiet guy, I don't have anything bad to say about anyone and I make it a point to never brag about anything pve or pvp related, please don't call me out to make yourself feel good.

Removing Rated from the bracket was such a great thing if you ask me. It weeded out the players who were only interested in leveling to 90 after they obtained their titles/achievements. The bracket has a lot more to offer than that. Not to mention that twinks have enough ego as it is.

lmao, removing rating is what killed the bracket. theres nothing competitive to do in 70s anymore, the people that actually played 70s didnt play it for the rewards.

I disagree that rated was even competitive, it was just players abusing the strongest tricks and glitches possible. Sure there were a few exceptional players and I was glad to have played with them. But the majority of 70 rated pvp was win traders and brain dead idiots. I preferred raiding because 99% of the pvp ers was so toxic, and pvers were always nice and helpful. Still is that way

I agree there is much more to do, and disagree that it’s good rated was removed for 70s

rating was a massive incentive for many players to even play the bracket, it brought activity to the bracket which like it or not is the most important thing. Without rating people dont feel like they have anything to lose really, sure the ladder on this website might be a fine replacement for some players, but for the majority of the competitive players its not really that satisfying.

The official ladder didn't take into account whether you were lvl 70, or max lvl though. That was rather problematic in terms of Glad and R1 cutoffs etc. Even if they made everything level and bracket-specific, then it would be counter-productive, because obviously the devs want people to play the game at max level. That's where their focus is.

But sure, removing a competitive incentive for certain players is also a negative, and I'd probably feel the same way if I played 70's in MoP.

70s werent on the ladder during mop tho, rating was removed because many people felt it was unfair that you could just play 70s and get most of the rewards (enchants and achievements) and at 85 u could get the tabards. i feel like people would still play the bracket if there was rating but no real rewards, at least the real twinks would.
