Another BG, another jump exploit - BAN THIS RIGHT NOW! Thanks

It also states if he is exploiting bugs in the game which he is not, as if it was a bug it would of been fix by blizzard about 10 years ago.

Might be the most retarded I have read today, but thanks for giving me a laugh, this thread, priceless <3

As I was hopping between both sides multiple times last night I think I can give an accurate description of how things played out.

First two games on horde side as Rdruid ( 1500- 14?? ) both games so they were pretty close.

Horde was chatting and stuff nothing too fancy I recall seeing mvp at stabs 1 or 2 times but never thinking much of it . ( had somebody come in and said something people may have brought It up with mvp)

wsg pops but I wasn't qued for it

so I hop on over to Fie mage ally side to get some quest gear while waiting on wsg and to try and balance games ( cause a fire is a huge advantage you know) .

Ab pops again and the alliance runs in all jolly laughing over somebody in ts just being a clown and having a good time. bout 3 min in "seriously!? there isn't a single bg where this kid isn't a total twat" ..... huh wonder what that was about . don't have to wonder about it for long cause suddenly everyone is just complaining and the holly jolly chat is now a groan fest.

after that ab stops popping and everyone shifts over to wsg.
rest of the night was pretty standard on ally side . everyone trys to blow up mvp asap .

I hop over to horde side after 2 games.

mvp runs around complaining how he isn't having fun in wsg because hes just running flag in strait lines. (horde was winning pretty well that game)

next game comes along and he's dicking around with the flag running away from heals and stuff frustrating most of the healers. 30 sec left in the game comes up and we get a return and hes still sitting tot . 20 sec ....still there .... 10 sec ...." oops sorry wasn't paying attention".

-.-

over all the jumps detract from the quality of games IMO.
also id rather play ally than put up with mvp in chat/on my team.

P.s. I'm bored at work so sorry for rambling on and on

To be fair, I was distracted due to all of the drama on forums. I even said on TS that I'm reading forums.

Idk, there was a kid yelling 'heh heh, Roula, where is the haram heh?, 'heh, Roula, may I have your Qur'an heh' incessantly after the 3rd AB until I left a few games later. MvP might be a scumbag depending on your perspective, but horde certainly benefits enormously from having him on their team regularly, particularly in the gulch.

to each their own . I didn't mind the joking around in ally chat tbh. but yet again everyone is diff.

I'm obviously not saying things should be serious, I'm saying that when someone repeat the same 3 lines over 4+ games so that no one can talk, it gets a bit old. In particular, when alliance is always said to have virtually no TS presence. But anyways, it was more of an aside than anything.

Ok one, jump macros can't be proven, 2, if you read Blizzard Entertainment:World of Warcraft Terms of Use and Blizzard Entertainment:Battle.net® end user License Agreement - clearly states that jumping is an "essence" of the game. It also states if he is exploiting bugs in the game which he is not, as if it was a bug it would of been fix by blizzard about 10 years ago, also states if it gives advantages over people whom are not using such methods.

So has anyone here ever not used the "jump" button in wow? I think not.

It states that using outside programs is bannable but the jumps he is doing is don't without one, and extremely easily. You all have no argument here. The jumps stay and so does MVP

Never stated in the text is there any thing about terrain exploiting, only bug exploiting, if it was considered a bug it would be fixed. And you have seen time and time again when blizzard add something into WSG there is always these weird bug "terrain" exploits which are fixed in a few weeks, if the jumps he does are considered a bug they would be fixed by now.

cheats are in the game for anybody to download as well...

getting under the flagstand in wsg is also still in the game...

i could go on but I'd hope you'g grasp the concept here.

Report him ingame, if u think he is exploiting/using bug. If he will be banned, then it is not allowed and if he will not be banned, then it is allowed. Simple

Report him, and keep reporting him, when a GM finally talks to you, link his twitch stream. The first GM might not do squat, nor the second, but eventually you'll find a GM that feels that exploiting texture-edge glitches (bugs) is actionable and will hit him with the banhammer.

Settle down junior. You can't make rules for open play. You/we can try. But they can't be enforced. If people start getting kicked because of it, that is considered harassment. And that is against Blizzard's ToS. Comprende?
All we can do to players is do as you suggested, report them. We can ridicule each other here on TI. But that is about it.
All the ridicule does is cause unnecessary tension.

If it was open play, 39s xp-off would have been getting pops this past June.

How many pops did 39s xp-off get prior to the organizers getting people together for planned, organized, you could almost say premade, games?

I would love a link to this cheat you can download onto wow, so then I can ban you for it.

But srsly, everyone can do it and it has been STATED by BLIZZARD that it is in the game.

Please link where Blizzard says they are good with people exploiting texture-edge glitches.

Read it and weep

Read it and weep

I see NOTHING in there saying that blizzard specifically is ok with the specific action of specifically exploiting texture-map-edge glitches.

Don't build me an outhouse and call it the Taj Mahal.

Ban skill moves on fifa because not everyone can do them, broken af Brazilians yo...

Are they breaking the rules of Fifa?

Exploiting texture-edge glitches is exploiting "bugs", which is not allowed in warcraft, in the ToS which you digitally sign by clicking "agree" on their terms of service, in order to play the game.

You can argue semantics if you want, go drink a 40 pounder of bourbon, go for a drive, find a roadside checkpoint, and explain to the nice officer how you are not breaking the law because they did not catch you right away as soon as you started driving drunk.

But its shows how skillful of a driver he is by driving drunk. Determines who the good and bad drivers are.

If blizzard really wanted to remove all jumps, then they would not have textured walls in the game lmao. Until they fix the issue of being able to land on ground that does not exist, there is not much that you can do besides ineffectually complain.

Does it necessarily promote better gameplay? No.
Is there anything you can really do about it besides be like, "hey, don't do that."? No.
