First i'd like to start off by saying I love the idea behind F2P and I genuinely appreciate the sense of authenticity it has in regards to competitive gaming and investing serious effort into a Twink, it reminds me of twinking back in Vanilla. With that being said I have to ask, are any of you guys ever worried that Blizz could undo all your work with the snap of a finger? Besides what I have going with my P2P account ATM that is the only other reason I haven't done F2P yet.

Not really. While WoW is a great game, and cheap to boot, Blizz keeps losing subs because of the new gems on horizon + f2p models + lack of money worldwide ( monetary problems are common nowadays ). WoW is also a 8yo game and can only offer much after those 8 years.

F2P was a way for Blizz to advertise their game without much problem. They give you a trial, that you're able to experiment, then you pay if you like.
Since the game keep losing subs, i'm actually more worried of them going into f2p someday and decreasing quality.

By all means, i'm up for 40/60 lvls F2P, but i don't think the ENTIRE GAME should be F2P.

Activision is far to greedy to be likely to give f2ps any more than they have, that's just my opinion based on what I know about the company.

btw wow has been out for 10 years

Can a mod add the option on this poll to "Would reroll P2P if necessary"?
 
If f2ps were removed/made unplayable then I would just find a more constructive use for my time.
 
Got f2p acc cuz more fun and p2p acc for grping boosting mounts etc and ofc to remove 24s only argument when I'm flaming them.

To the best of my knowlegde, it is still possible to roll f2p restricted on a p2p account. Try it, makes for much better / funnier games :)
I would know, I started as a 24 in this bracket, got 1k hks then rolled f2p, have not regretted it yet.

Not too concerned. As someone stated above, you can always pay for a subscription and still play as a trial with restrictions. It is only 50 cents a day. There are also "ways" to get subscribed items to trial accounts. I would be a bit disappointed at that. I jumped through quite a bit of hoops for those items. But, que sera sera.
People keep statng that "WoW is losing subs, WoW is losing subs". That does not mean it a going away anytime soon. WoW still has over twelve million subscribers. That is more that the population of some European countries. Or equalvalent to the population of NYC.
About Blizzard being "greedy". I guess every person on the face of the planet that works is greedy. They work for money. Every non-charible company is formed for one reason and one reason alone. To eventually make money.

^ This. WoW HAD 12 million, it was the peak. It lost subs after Cataclysm, because of several issues ( monetary crysis, weak endgame, and other factors ).

Also, from what i recall, Blizzard isn't owned by Activision anymore.

Also, it's weird. Blizzard's site doesn't show any kind of relation with Activision, but Activision/Blizzard site still exists.

Marinara is probably my favorite sauce but rigatoni primavera is my favorite pasta dish. The rigatoni primavera has the "crispness" of spring as is name implies if is cooked with the correct ingredients. Why do you ask?

An honest answer to your honest question, no. P2Ps suck and unless they are grouped like a pack of dogs picking on that lone cat they are powerless. Blizz won't up and undo F2P and they won't delete my toon or anything. Only thing to be worried of is how fun this bracket would be if they finally made it F2P only and how much RL time I would start losing playing WoW again

You know the fact that random BGs are filled with F2P's is like an reversed-inversed version of what it was like when twinks just started on WoW and we just slaughtered everyone besides the rare twink whom everyone else would view as your rival, you would be that rock for your team of under geared people, but then you would have these people who had incredible gear come in and save the day, that was because it wasn't cross realm BGs tho, good time. Either way it's no fun being that hero when you get that one arrogant F2P who thinks he's better than all P2P's ( reminds me a little of racism - it's certainly discriminatory - (by no means are most free to plays like this)) who thinks it's a good idea to hecke us in BGs on our own team - for real, we've had team mates try to sabotage us sparing off against holy crit, guess what - F2P's - this sort of thing was happening so frequently that I stopped queuing because randoms lost how much fun they where, but I suppose that might have been the goal, a little like GY farming in that your ruining others fun. I was hopping to get bloodthirsty this summer. we'll see how that goes.
