@Anexa I doubt they even did anything seems like there are people out there who want to ruin everyone who becomes even just a little bit successful in life.

Funny how cancel culture is what we call it today. You know people just called it boycotting back before idiots argued over definitions for every single thing.

I don't see how Anexa is being wrong with the statements made. If someone does something bad they should be punished. Part of a corporations punishments are often boycotting and general outrage over the situation if not government intervention. All of which we have in this situation.

Sad thing is we all enjoy this product to some extent and the product itself is innocent within the matter. However Corporations only get called to action when LARGE amounts of money or public image is involved. That being said if changes are going to come to the core of these issues it has to start from the inside of this multi-dollar Indy company.

The threat of a cancel culture in todays age might be enough kindling to start a fire.
the threat of lawsuit sure isnt now-a-days as profits for fraud are often higher than the fee. but this isnt about $ it's about females being treated like shit in order for jack offs to drink and jerk around at work.

#cancel blizzard management #unionize

P.S. How is canceling corrupt management a political statement?

Cancel culture is not boycotting LOL. Their public image is being shamed and there is clear censorship, sometimes false accusations. Look at actors like Johnny depp they basically get bullied out of their roles. I don’t know if blizzard is actually harassing females or not all I know is in today’s world with cancel culture and metoo you can never believe anything anymore.

Im not even against punishing Blizzard. Infact they can burn and rot for all I can care about. Its what Anexia wrote that ticked me off. Of course given the response to the rest of the people in the thread, seems like I took her statement way too personal. I guess men bad and I should get executed for opening my mouth. Probably should have ignored her statement form the 1st place to prevent further unpleasantries.

Since we are talking a corporation and not individuals, aside from ALEX, it might be best to use examples of corporations being slammed with "cancel culture" rather than 1 man. I get your point but 2 years of a state funded investigation is a little more important and accurately informative than a Hollywood divorce. ALSO Johnny got his redemption. God Bless the man.

if you ain't a bad man then you shouldn't take personal statements made towards bad men.

My problem was with the labeling, immediately putting the actions of some individuals on an entire group of people.
It's like me presenting a specific instance of women acting inappropriately and say all women are "xyz". That's not how it works.

I'm not defending any actions of sexual harassment or anything like that, I'm just pointing out an extremely flawed way of thinking.

Everyone knew about it and nobody did anything. Anyone who tries to say something gets punished and fired and blacklisted in the worst case scenario.

Most got named so far, im waiting to see how the situation around Metzen shakes up, would be a real bummer but i doubt there's anyone in the upper management who didn't know at least a bit of the going ons including him...

The standard "not all men" card. How about you get mad about the sexual harassments instead? You're not even addressing it. And stop making up excuses and act like someone did this for fame. It's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Department_of_Fair_Employment_and_Housing who are suing them after a 2 year investigation.

2 years investigation. Let that sink in.
+ someone actually committed suicide over them spreading nudes of their co-worker.

Sexual harassment in the workplace isn't politics, it's an encroachment upon basic human rights

"So...the Feminist's vaunted justice has finally arrived. Shall I lay down my pride and throw myself at your mercy, Anexa?"

Holding employers accountable for the mistreatment and exploitation of their employees is not a feminist plot just because that mistreatment and exploitation involves some pretty grotesque sexual harassment.

Also, obvious sock puppet is obvious.

How about you eat shit with your vein attempts at making it look like its only been men to blame? Also the state is suing the company, meaning that there isn't criminal cases against the actual individuals who caused the fiasco (although there likely should be).

The agency said it was bringing the suit on behalf of itself and all aggrieved female employees. It is seeking punitive and compensatory damages, penalties under the Equal Pay Act, injunctive relief, and any back pay that could be determined later.
If I give you a a jar of candy containing 100 pieces, then say that I poisoned 1 of them, how many pieces u gonna eat? Are you gonna trust any of the pieces?
Using your poisoned m&m theory all the women who were working there who didn't speak out should be to blame too, great logic buddy.

no idea, I had like one horde toon and never went there during its glory days. Though I have no real control over other mods deleting your posts while we're chatting.
Imagine holding moderators to the same standards as your average poster. If my post using the word cocksucker gets removed but your quote of it doesn't, seems like bias in this site still exists, big surprise ain't it buddy.
