Btw about farming artifact power - I've done Eye of Azshara twice now and both times there was a chest with a 200 AP item in it. Not sure if you can only loot them 1 time (they were in different locations) but if not, should be easy to farm with how fast dungeons go when twinked.

so is all your gear from dungeons? or upgraded quest items? or AH items?

Neck: 698 quest reward
Shoulders: 704 quest reward
Cloak: 700 rare spawn
Chest: 800 zone quest
Wrists: 715 WoD BoE
Hands: 800 zone quest

To answer the question from the other page - the 800s can't be warforged/titanforged since they're from quests but they might have a change to proc epic +10 ilvls.

Anyone seen if dungeon gear can proc warforged/titanforged for lvl 99s? I've seen a 110 get warforged in a group but noone below 110 yet.

Are you holding out on 1 WoD crafted piece in hopes of getting better upgrades?
 
Yeh kind of - if I can get all the legion BoEs then I'll be using WoD crafted shoulders for my last slot but that's gonna take a while.

I think 13 artifact traits will be our "soft cap". You can get those with relative ease (quests, rares, chests, random drops from dungeons and mobs) but then it starts to ramp up, the next costing 6840. Here's my traits on my blood DK:

so were thinking farming dungeons is the way to go for farming AP?
 
Collected all the treasure chests in 3/4 of the zones. Got a bit from dungeons and random drops too.

Edit: I wonder if solo chest farming in dungeons would be viable? Could run in via the portal, check all the spawn locations in the instance, then run out and reset 10 times an hour. Would need to be a stealth class or tank to kill the mobs though.

Edit2: Did 5 laps of Eye of Azshara and didn't find any chests so I gave up xD

More proof that AP can drop from any NPC in Legion (random World drop). Also, the Chest I looted in my first Dungeon had no AP but did have a Plate Helm (DH wears Leather) so that's odd. I also still can't random que and get the same error others do. The first pic is of a Twilight Orelifter in a Cave in Highmountain. The second is an Emberhusk Dominator from the Dungeon Neltharion's Lair. What they drop is called Brief History of the Aeons and it can drop as Epic also (but maybe not for sub 110).

just finished getting my 4th 800 piece, still have a few more quests to do from each zone for the achievements/chance at upgrades then going to do all the treasures and rares. Ilvl is currently 733 with 9376 int, 51% crit, 19% haste, 28% mastery, 15 vers
 
what artifact level did you guys reach after all the guaranteed, one-time sources (quests, treasures, etc.)?

Would you say blood is the best spec for PvP or are you going pve?
 
Nope, honored for all of them from questing but you get rep from doing the 4 dungeons so should be possible to get revered. Are there any rewards that would be useful?

Decided to queue for some skirmishes as I was curious if they'd even pop at 99 - did about 15 games and won all but 1 of them (damn you frost mage!). Blood DK is basically invincible and could probably 1v2 most non-twink comps. Had 299k hp in the arena and 1041k outside with 738 ilvl.

There may be items you can buy if u get rep up higher that scale down to lvl 99 if so that'll need some testing
 
As far as I can tell, the only classes who can get their hidden artifact appearance at 99 will be:
- BM Hunters (costs 8k gold from Dalaran)
- Disc Priests (drop from rare mob + revered Valarjar item)
- Havoc DH (rare drop from all mobs in Suramar)
- Prot Warrior (rare treasure in Highmountain cave)
- MM Hunters (revered with Court of Farondis)

They could have hidden level 110 requirements to loot them though.
 
Do we have any idea how many recolors we will actually be able to obtain? Im looking at the list but alot of things dont list whether or not you have to be 110 (probably because these guides dont have twinks in mind). Aside from the classes listen for the hidden artifact appearances it might look like we can only get the Pillars of Creation recolor. It looks like for fire mage we get a recolor from a 2% drop rate from a normal add in Suramar. I dont see a 110 requirement on this item so would i be able to farm this add if i just go to its location?
 
Possibly. Most the appearances and colours require instances or achievements that require 110 though.

Single target was about 400k sustained compared to ~200k that the average lvl 110 does atm xD
