But yeah, you should be solid during pvp in the early phases, and it only gets better as time goes on.
 
I'd like to organize all the twinks to pick the same server. Of course, we won't be able to do that until they release the server names, but I'd at least like to make people aware of an effort to have a central twink server where there will be more competitive play.
 
I'll be playing either 59 Restoration/Balance OR Enhancement/Elemental Shaman. May be interested. Will be an enchanter/herbalist.

Is there going to be an alternate server choice? Or just deal with the overpopulation until it dies off? With BGs so far off, i'm guessing the latter?
 
So I browsed over both threads here and on the classic forums, didn't see any mention - will blizz be offering multiple instances of AV? I remember taking forever just to get in, and once in no one wanted to leave for hours/days... are they altering that system? For those claiming that WSG and AB will be "dead bracket" BGs for 59, that could be an equalizer. Just curious.
 
I never played in Vanilla but from what I heard people waited for hours for a couple of factors. To help prevent long queues and drawn out games AV went through a couple a revamps to reduce the difficulty, and then they introduced cross realm battlegrounds 1.12 to help this out.

You can imagine with 80+ servers back in the day if only a few players were queuing on your server, I can totally see waiting hours being a thing.

As far as altering that system goes, not sure. The servers today as you can see are much larger than they used to be, so perhaps they keep things like BG's server specific for a while. Eventually cross realm bgs will be a thing.

As far as WSG and AB being dead brackets for 50-59, these are private server players saying this mostly from what I can gather. But in that same breath, also heard that private servers players would deck out their characters from level 55+ in dungeon gear they could get and then play BG's at 59 for a while before going to 60.

Additionally, this dead bracket claim does not match accounts from Vanilla as I can't find mention of players ever having this issue, and quite the opposite stating that they would farm WSG all day long. And mounting up on their epic mounts racing across the map in AB games frequently.

Between crossrealm and being able to have multiple BGs queued, I think there shouldn’t be too much problem, especially if Battlemasters are implimented sooner than later (I’m not even sure how they’re being implemented). Back then, you could queue multiple and also have them pop mid-BG. Can be annoying having several others leave all at once but it can also help in getting into any particular BG you want.
 
The one thing I loved the most about doing 59 BGs is being able to get Epic mount riding at lv59, and being the only person in the match with epic riding. This is huge in Arathi Basin to get to flags fast.

It's definitely a statement to have that Epic Mount, and it's truly epic in that only the top 1.4% player base in HK's gets it.
 
Petrolsk has edited the original post, but I think it’s worth a bump to mention that we’ve transferred to Heartseeker. If you’re on a high pop server and are interested in 59s, you may be able to transfer to Heartseeker as well.
 
i was a hardcore twink fanatic in retail with 17 twinks. quit after a while and came back to classic the second i remembered about OG twinks. my first char was my enh sham which i knew right away teh bracket and build and named it after such even. 0 desire to have a lv 60. the sham is now lv 38 ( will 39 soon but just waiting incase i find something i forgot or missed or want and until bgs are even released) its fully bis'd with POD and enh spec. so now as i let it sit, im attempting a 59 spriest twink. i started off thinking ok cool w.e but now i find myself more excited about this 59 than the 39 lol. i wana do a gear list plan but tbh its so overwhelming....theres so many diff places to possbile find a bis item from. mc ubrs lbrs brd scholo strathe dm east west north pvp items. super excited to do it but wish there was anything online to help even just a little with a possible item list. anyways, hella stoked to be doing this. twinks FTW.
