[Serious] Legion class changes and further discussion

With Legion we need a Korgath revival ;)
On bwl my Druid slumbers in it's spirit set brooding in fluffy angst awaiting the day it returns to the gultch to once against place picnics and stuff!

With removal of enchants and possibly trinket use in Legion.

You seem confused. The removal of enchants in pvp, stats based upon on spec and the PVP talents are all apart of the new honor system. That system has been confirmed to be available at lvl 110 only.

Levels 10-109 will still be geared based, will still have enchants and will be using the PVE talents. All trinkets will work just fine lvl 10-109.

Finally someone answered my question

I heard enchants will be removed for 100 - 110 pvp and 10 - 99 will be fine. Where are you getting this info from?

You're probably right. That sounds logical. But as far as this forum is concerned it amounts to the same thing. Only impacts 100-109 twinking, if it exists.

I'm excited for the fact that you will be able to get a full versatility suit since according to (legion) wowhead all spirit on gear and enchants is converted to vers. Most bonus armor is also converted to vers.

30%- 40% versatility disc priest incoming :)

Mind thrust bracers & magefist gloves BIS.
Woolen boots & robe of the moccasin also BIS.
Gnomish googles (9 int / 9 stam / 9 vers)
Satchel cloth waist has 5 vers on it.
etc

Why PvP talents in Legion?
Gear is the current progression system in PvP. When you get your gear, you’re done. However, you should feel that you’re working to a goal, and you need compelling rewards—PvP talents that you get every few levels. There’s currently a sense of satisfaction when you get a new piece of gear, pick an enchant, or gem—customization is fun. In Legion, the customization fun comes from talents instead.

In Legion, there will be no active trinkets, no set bonuses, no enchants in PvP. That sense of “choice” comes from the PvP talent system. These gear changes should lead to sustained damage being a larger part of PvP—vs the current situation where when everything lines up at once, you do very strong damage, but otherwise are a wet noodle.

" The PvP Honor system is only available at level 110. "

No pvp talents / set stats / exclusion of enchants & trinkets until lvl 110. Did you really think that they'd give all that stuff for people who don't buy the expansion? And on top of that, there's no way they go spend time balancing every single bracket in order to give base stats to every spec.

Hey friend, can you give me a link that explicitly states that enchants will still be a part of non-endgame pvp?

Not a link that states the removal of enchants will take place in PvP at level 110; we are on the same page here.

But a blue post that says something to the effect of "Enchants will still be a part of low level Battlegrounds" would help immensely! Thanks :)

I don't think blizzard will openly say that though...

Oh lemmi gues...
a 29 prick came down from chair with noose in his hands jumping around with happy face,
since he no longer have to kill himself due to small possibility of still being able to rek some little kids in future.

every major changes (acc wide mounts/pets/toys/ ect) was available to everyone. regardless of account status.
starters could use new bg ui that was implemented not so far ago.
if we don't get new honor system with all its perks then there must be a substitute.

having 2 systems for one things is not a best way in terms of resources management.

There is no such blue post. It is however implied. The only reason that enchants and trinkets are removed from lvl 110 is because you are assigned stats based on your spec and you have access to pvp talents that compensate for the loss of choice from enchants / trinkets.

The entire system is only for lvl 110. To cherry pick parts of this system and then hope that they apply to low levels is just wishful thinking. If you do not have access to pvp talents and assigned stats then there is no logical reason to block enchants / trinkets (from blizzard's perspective).
