Don't hate 'cause you are playing a subscriber based model (currently) for free... is all I'm saying.

The entitlement still baffles me to this day.

There is no entitlement. I'm not asking for anything for free.

I just want competition, like most people here. I would hope since the 29s are so good at PvP they would want the same?

See you spin it like 29s need to come to heel, so to speak. What's stopping you from leveling the playing field and rolling a 29? I mean, if everyone is so good at PvP and want competition after all, amirite?


Just for the record, I don't have a 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 or 29. Before that becomes a point of contention :cool:

Well as for myself I just don't want to pay anymore. But I can't speak for everyone. I imagine a majority doesn't have the ability to pay per month.
 
My free to play account will stay free, a mere 5$ is too much for me to pay to ruin my account.

Did you click the "Upgrade now" from the in-game screen as your characters load? That one links to the 5 dollar deal. when i did it i tried to first just log into battle,net and it only offered me the $20 upgrade. It has to be clicked from in game.

Oh I see! I can totally sympathize. I mean if I didn't want to pay for a subscriber game (and others still did) I would certainly criticize them and expect them to play on par with me. Because if they want competition they should play like me ^_^. You know... the one that won't pay a sub game. Instead of how they were playing.

How do you figure? People are paying to play the game because that is how the game works. Just because you can't/won't afford it doesn't mean they are in the wrong or paying to win.

I can assure you there is no entitlement.

My argument they was they don't want any competition, they want face roll. And that's still valid. It's frustrating for people that really enjoy this aspect of the game, paid or not. Right now fighting a 29 BM is like fighting a raid boss, this isn't PvP.

If money was taken out of the conversation completely which would you rather have?
A bunch of 20s playing each or a bunch of 29s playing each other?

Oh and btw the 29s can Guard for 6k and the ferals can bite for about the same. That's your entire health. Which gives the best PvP Experience?

people who pay to play the game do want competition

people who choose to handicap themselves and their team by not paying do not want competition; they just want something to whine about when they get stomped

Yes but why the level 24 bracket if your ultimate goal wasn't to avoid competion?
 
sometimes ya gotta go with the flow with the river rather than fight it than continue with swimming upstream.

meh, i'd hate to let go of things but when life gives ya lemons with glitter on them. you sell them for x amount of money to get the goods. especially since blizz literately making this game b2p for us.

You are painting with a very broad brush my friend.

There are certainly people who don't care about competition. Those people play in all brackets and levels. And yes... they certainly play "F2P." This is not exclusive to people who play 29s. Many people want to feel powerful on their characters, it's part of their progression. How they do it is irrelevant to me. You arguing that a specific group (i.e., 29s) is a bunch of facerollers is doing disservice to this bracket as a whole. You are perpetuating the garbage us vs them attitude, when it is not the case. I digress...

You have listed 2 specs you have a problem with and tried to make a case that 20s is a better experience. It's not. I've played through Cata as well. Let's face it, the quality of games has always been questionable in this bracket. That isn't to say there were/aren't some great games. But seriously, take off the rose colored glasses.
 
I just don't see how destroying someone in 2 global's is fun for people...

I suppose it's fun to do so when you have 0 skill at this game and need some sort of self confidence. (Almost all of you. Shots fired.) I think it's a lot more fun and requires a lot more skill for a F2P to beat a P2P in a BG/Skirmish situation. It requires you to use your brain a bit more so than a P2P.

We want everybody to have fun in the battlegrounds, and that includes those people who do not twink their characters... and getting steamrolled again and again by twinks is just not fun. Allowing twinks to play in the same Battlegrounds as regular players would be unfair for those who are levelling their characters for the first time, and normal players in general should not be punished for not having the time or resources to spend on gathering the best in slot equipment and top enchants for their low level characters.

This was the explenation given by Vaneras. So no it is not about what you said but all about time and gear.

Which leads me a bit to loli again and others why yall telling us we don't want to fight other twinks is prejudice. The players who were left were just looking for activity and blizz didn't bring any up til starter accounts that is. Can't blame people for wanting activity while they pay for a game. We tried our best to make it all work, we had 19s and we had 29s we had 39s, 60s and 70s at that moment but just all died out and yes some of the players who still were into twinking when it all died started to play 20-24 but it is blizzard to blame not us :(
