Honest question : are fury warriors any good at 20? I dont doubt the damage, but can they actually reach anything?
My sub ends in about a week, so until now, I've been farming stuff and playing 50s. So I dont know. But considering the kits/abilities, doesnt Fury end up kinda short?
They have charge, and that's it? Hunters have trap, concussive shot, bursting shot, disengage. Hell, even a single DK with ChainsOfIce seems like he'd make a warrior's life hell.
Thoughts?

Do what you like! I thought we had a fun little discussion yesterday about single minded fury builds. Nobody was trying to squelch that conversation and it is definitely not bis. But it could be a lot of fun.
The difference is when you claim any particular build is bis, which you did before you edited the title of the thread. Then we need to have a conversation and you need to defend that assertion. I provided evidence to the contrary and you started fuming. "Just dual wield destiny" has been a meme build since titans grip was available at low levels. And Destiny has been a meme weapon for warrior twinks for... well, about 16 years now. It'd be cool if it was worth doing.
And you've proven its at least worth considering! Is it bis, I dont think so. Its a shame you didnt run your experiment on a 20 so we could do a direct comparison, but whatever. I think these kinds of things are worth hashing out. Is the 500ish extra IP worth giving up 26 static stam and a grip of crit and mastery? I dont think so, but you made your assertion, the burden of proof is on you.

Duels are outside org/SW, PvP also consists of team v. team encounters. So in a team setting... yeah, decent if you wanna.
edit- if you wanna drool over the hunter toolkit roll a hunter. Not rocket science. If you're a warrior, deal with it.
I'd think "just go farm acouple Destiny" could overtake it. Or "I found one on my AH in a day" could contend.
Margo if you spend too muhc time comparing every spec to huntes your gonna have a bad time, nothing comes close to the toolkit hunter has at 20. is fury good? I would say so, I would probably go arms myself though. As for only having charge, yeha you need to save charge and try to initiate fights while mounted if you can.
You cna also roll gnome for root brakes ona 1 min cd or goblin for rocket jump. I dont play a warrior at 20 but though so someone else more informative would do a better job answering your question.

To be fair, my Comments were from a PvE perspective and to what would potentially be higher DPS/throughput.
Yeah these are my thoughts exactly. I'd rather party sync a fury warrior into the 20s bracket. At least then you'd get double charge (or stormbolt). Then either door of shadows + condemn or spear of bastion. Venthr has a particularly funny 3rd champion. Service in stone ; 'Damage taken below 40% health is reduced by 10%. Upon death you leave a stone husk behind which shatters after 3 sec, inflicting 100% of your maximum health in damage split among nearby enemies, and healing for 100% of your maximum health split among nearby allies.'
Imagine 1 shotting people after you died haha
Fury is in a rough spot. Initial rage generation with charge and bloodthirst is good, but it feels like it runs out of gas kinda easily, especially because uptime is limited, as you noted.
Arms is pretty solid though. Burst is real high, so uptime on the target is less of an issue. Fighting hunters and mages for sure sucks. You gotta rely on a team to help keep them pinned, more or less. But if you can engage with mount and get a hamstring off, you're in a pretty decent place. Just sword and board and use shield block/ignore pain between charges. And hope the healers find soon.

The other 99% of the time you roll up, get trucked in the butt hard with epic statless junk and whine about how you could have had 6 mil in the bank rather than a fury turd with purple trash hands.
i49 is Bis, just get over it. Destiny/Rivendare/i34 (or whatever the else you found lying in the AH/Ground) is what you use if you missed the boat.

Night Elf hunters also have Shadowmeld. I use it all the time to lure unsuspecting prey to my pet that's sitting in a bush 40 yards away
The dmg per second on the ilvl49 weapon is high.. How do you calculate that dmg per sec in a combat scenario ? Does it matter more than the overall dmg as a result of the total primary stat? I usually look at my overall dmg as a result of my total primary stat, meaning I try to push my primary stat as far as it can go, if an item has a socket, I will use primary stat gem.. But sometimes I feel the extremely high ilvl gears which has more dmg per sec seem to affect some of my dmg output, in what way, I cannot tell

First the toon in vid is level 24 and has the passive that makes whirlwind cost 0 rage so they get lots more opportunities to proc
and second.. they are actively attacking 3 targets, will your fury warrior always be in 1v3 (or more) situations? Probably not
Unless you find some way to get an ungodly amount of haste don't expect to get this much return from your grind
This is what I’ve been trying to say about procs since wrath xD.
the best part about destiny is if you wanna be a super big brain, you can weapon swap with the procs and do not lose them.

I have to agree ^^ probably a difference in gear and as I see a few of the items tool tips I would imagine a large disparity in vers. XD. But I do love all this theorycrafting going on. Why not test control and experimental for real data and not, I say so!
yea, its a real shame he didnt test this on an actual 20 if he was so confident in the build. Wonder why...
