any reason to twink a 10 rogue?

I'm getting bored and want to do something weird, settled on a lvl 10 rogue or maybe hunter. But before I spend any effort on it...is it worth it? even remotely?

I figure a rogue with dual +15 agi and librams would work pretty well, but i dont actually know if the math checks out. will I get fun levels of dodge/crit? or did that come from a later patch?

Back in the day my guild leader was a lv.10 Rogue. Stacked Agil/Dodge to 85-90ish total dodge. You can definitely hold your own against lv.19 opponents!

Not until TBC you wont

Hold off until BC
This. There simply isn't enough XP available by Level 10 (without the ability to Lock your Level, which isn't until WotLK). You won't be able to get more than a few BiS pcs and have to decide on only ONE major Questline do complete for a single OMGWTFPWNBBQ item.

Pretty sure there wont be any point in Twinking a lvl 10 dodge rogue in TBC either, since were most likely gonna be emulating patch 2.4.3 which was the endstage of TBC, which means agility scaling to dodge was nerfed.

Personally i would wait for Wrath XP lock with 10 twinks since it gives you tons of posibilities of gearing, i remember playing 10 twinks back in 2010 with alot of others on Dunemaul EU, it was fun.

hopefully we stop at wrath. that's imo, the "old" wow. even LFG/LFD can stay.

The trick with lvl 10s was to stack Defense Rating and Dodge, that was how we could pull 95%+ avoidance.

Irrelevant, 10 dodge twinks have been created many years back so lets not argue if it works or not because it does. The question is, will they implement the patch breaking dodge.

Not irrelevant at all. The Dodge Twinks became a thing in WotLK. Even in TBC, you weren't able to reach 100% Dodge like you could in WotLK. It was even worse in Classic. You were able to get a decent level of Dodge in Classic but nothing close enough to be considered a 'Dodge Twink'.

Yeah I did some more research (arguably shouldve done that before making this thread lolol) and there isnt much reason to do it in Classic as it stands now. I'm probably gonna make a level 10 rogue with dual +15agi etc just for the world pvp trolling aspect, but wont be wasting time with AGM, librams etc. May rethink this down the line but its not even clear that we'll hit fun levels of dodge in TBC, and thats assuming it releases.

You hit very fun levels of dodge and avoidance in TBC when everything shifts to rating instead of 1% based, I did it. Here's Strawhat my lvl 10 Rogue in action (starts at 8:16).

They are 100% going to stop at Wrath, there is literally no reason or calling to continue after. WOTLK was the peak of wow, and then things just started to landslide.
