Firstly twinking was founded on farming lvlers out of existance using whatever is possible...If you are equally able to consume/ use these I dont see any issue with it...I keep hearing alot of QQing and bitching about it during pugs...although thats my thoughts on speed potting and gliding..the +60 int buff (horde side only) is what I disagree on since ally is unable to aquire it. gg

Finally someone said it. I don't use them on CD. But if it comes to down to it, I won't hesitate to pop a swifty to cap a flag or kill an fc. I don't listen to the politics.

There is one reason and only one reason why Pots/Buffs became 'banned' territory among some of the Twinking Community, and that's because there were Players either too lazy or too Gold broke to farm them for themselves. They felt if they didn't have them, nobody else should.

The only point that I draw the line is cheating via lag programs, DDoS'ing others, and various other exploits. The irony is, most of the bads that cry foul when they see anyone using a Speed Pot are the very same ppl cheating to win.

For a Twink only Event (TwinkCup for example), I have zero issue with there being rules as to what is and what is not allowed, but for open que/WPvP, those rules are moot.

I always use them in pugs, with the current state of the game (moba gameplay) anything to give you an edge is a must as a twink.

people dont use them because u cant use them in 10v10 games

I never understood why so many people on this forum are against using consumables like speed pots and gliders. Pugs aren't meant to mimic wargames so why so serious about what you can or can't use in pugs? Randoms consist of a minority of twinks anyways so it's not even a semi competitive battlefield.

This is exactly where the bias really comes from, using consumables is a handicap that won't translate to a competitive environment, the twink cup for example. Situations that you may have dealt with by using consumables will suddenly be insurmountable obstacles for those with a bad habit, if they ever step foot in a 10v10.

Speedpot / Glider to catch up to someone who did it first.
You need to have them on deck now, these new bloods are quite fond of them.

Like others have already said, I personally don't use any consumables / gliders because they can't be used in a 10v10.

Truly what other people use doesn't bother me. I may not agree with people popping them every CD, but hey more power to them if they want to.

They may not be "new bloods". They may have been around a long long time. They could have just now gotten around to creating an account on this particular forum. It really isn't all that well known after all.

/cheers

what is this wargames you speak of, unless your in with the old 19s clique you don't get invited to any wargames
False.

I am newer to 19s and I get in almost every wargame. Not to mention we have had newer players / guilds joining almost every night.

Just have to speak up or take a spot before anyone else does. It's always first come first serve.

Coming to a bg unprepared is like coming to a test unprepared - you risk failure.

Come on people, you can fucking trade and use AH, F2Ps have to farm it on their own and we don't look down on people for using it.

I can kinda understand the 10v10 argument (I guess you're talking about RBG?) but this is twink bracket, no rbgs.

I agree with most here. Unless it's cheating with 3rd party programs I won't despise anyone for using it.
