Do I afk? Yes when I am about to die. Do i need to afk? Usually not ive afkd maybe 10 times when I am about to die(not coiunting bgs when they bore me/not spawn fast enough I am always buffed and got a 24 healbot and 3 BiS hunters covering my back Im can self sustain myself and dont need help.ONly 6+ 24s or 10 man premade can afk me.
I didnt want to farm I only wanted to KILL all those there are just 3 people that escaped me and that was lofi,thirk and Cotus(ive seen them all but I was awlays on healers/on the side they are on)

Do I afk? No. Never. I always solo queue.IT is also an account shared by someone else and they bo so statistics are skeweredt. I also want hard games as thats how I practice on a ungeared 20 when times comes for my 24 im always ready. The mistakes I make on my 20 were punishables by rezing in the GY.

you have 14450/175=83 WSG HK per WSG.
2630/40=66 AB HK per AB
so it seems that you afk out of most of your WSG/AB games.
this is not a surprise because your AB win ratio is 90%, you won 36 out of 40.
not trying to be rude but basically my formula will look at people like you and it will say "bad player".

I would look at people like him and say they care too much about statistics, skill isn't directly related to afking out of games.

I only afkd out of games if didnt spawn fast enough/no new faces. If i saw a new 24 or f2p ''tough guy'' you bet I was gonna go for him.I never played for flags, I wish my win ratio could plummet down to 40%.
And you think you cant farm AB?This is cata..most of my AB was actually''botted'' for honor heirlooms.Too bad they cap so fast. so I was unable to produce good results, duo queued.

i can assure you one thing: when my formula(still working on it) says a certain player is a bad player, most people will agree with the fact that he/she is bad.

i am still working on the formula to perfect it.
but it looks like he is a bad player for 4 reasons:
1, his HK per WSG is 108117/1083=100. so either he afk out of losing games or he HK farms.
2, his HK per AB is 34023/547=62. this reinforces point 1: he most likely afk out of losing games.
3, his wsg win ratio and AB win ratio are both very high, abnormally high, so this reinforces point 1: he definitely afk out of losing games.
4, his WSG win ratio is actually lower than his AB win ratio. definitely not a sign of a good player, but this alone doesn't show he is a bad player.
Conclusion: bad player that group queues and/or sync queues.
edit: now, i would be surprised if 10 people jumped out at this point and said this player is actually one of the best paladins around.

My awesomeness (read: objective gameplay) cannot be measured in quantified ways. My rating on the scoreboard is usually crap but I am far more than a crap player.
I guard the FC, I FC, I chase the EFC, I defend nodes - all the while losing the hks and other scores one could easily accrue if they were into that kind of thing.
While I admire your zeal Glance I think your intended project is not a valid measurement - or even near indicator of the elusive term "skill".

Ally winning percentage in cata says absolutely nothing about AFKing. I rarely AFK (and never in AB) and my shaman has won 29 of 34 games. Not shown in the stats, but it only took me 19 games (17 of which were wins) to get ten 5 caps. It was completely unbalanced. The first step to fixing your formula should be removing the AB/WSG comparison. Start from scratch, this is a terrible measure for anyone who played before 5.0.

I see several issues with this, the first is your thinking that someone will either be labeled "good players" or "bad players". It seems clear you are trying to measure how "good" and objective player they are, which as it R Prime said is something that really cant be displayed in numbers and statistics. There are just to many variables for this to be anywhere close to accurate.
The other issue i see is, even if that were possible, for the formula to be anything close to accurate you need a known scale that you are measuring against. You need a list of several players of varying known skill that when applied to your formula would support. Seeing as this doesn't exist to my knowledge you are simply pulling this out of the air, which means if your formula works or not is irrelevant such that it is based solely on your opinions and has no sound backing whatsoever.

Haha, lie about what? I said I GY farmed on my Druid to get my BoAs. GY farming happens both in AB and WSG.
You are just sour that I destroyed your formula.
Only reason I posted here in the first place was to totally delegitimize your ideas so as to shield new/gullible players into taking into account a makeshift, nonsense equation that comes to misleading conclusions. I rarely even play anymore, but I would gladly vs you in a BG =)
It was a decent idea at the beginning, but there is no way to quantify skill - too many things happen in BGs. Give it up.
