all this is great and all but don't u remember rogues use to just sit in stealth and 1 shot people all day. Rogues were the me myself and I spec.
 
HAHHAAHHAHAHA ye man i Love it i spent 3 hrs yesterday farming lvlers in their gy with my 5 man skype group was loads of fun and i could pretend like i was SR back in cata lulz xd i Love the new changes soooo much!!!111!!one!!!

To me the outlaw rogue plays and feels more like the bc period, sure rogues used to 1 shot cloth wearing noobs with 300hp back then. But its better than Wod When I logged on my fully Gf'd shaman and was being 1 shot by feral druids hitting me for like 1.5-2k.

I personally love it.

if u wanna achieve quality shit, you'll have more luck on that private server. retail changes, deal with it. :) :)
 
I find it funny that the players who are enjoying these pugs are casuals who don't care about quality. Which is beyond me really. As Hamcake stated, I could open a lot of notepad Windows instantly but that doesn't make it an enjoyable experience.

To the arguement that competitive players can just war game. That doesn't really solve the issue. The issue isn't that competitive games don't exist anymore, it's that competitive PUGS don't exist anymore. I think most people would agree that competitive pugs could sometimes be better than premades in terms of entertainment.

That's far from true. The ones that aren't enjoying it are the ones that won't get off of their high horses and actually see that this is a good thing.

Why sit in a que for two hours without a pop and then get a good game? Now you can play games for two hours, yes games may not be that great, but then you can get a good one. At least you aren't just sitting in Org wasting your entire night.

Inc ahead, some smartass thinks it will be funny or cool to say you are wasting your night anyway. :)
 
to be honest I'm enjoying legion a lot atm I can chill out with some mates and a way a game should be. but it does get boring rather quick I agree with Mvq we have qued competitive twinking pugs/wargames for 4 years+ and al ot of us where a lot younger when we started twinking so we found "shitting on plebs" fun but times change and people want more close nit games when you can go into a BG and know if you have a good team not go into a game and think oh fuck I have a guy with a ring on only. I feel like if we want to make this expansion good again we need premades weekly so everyone can get their fix of a intense match if you don't want to fine just go back to spamming pugs but why should the players what actually get a buzz for queuing hard matches and play their class to utter perfection be condoned to play low level gameplay. but hey we are in a bracket where most of the people are immature so we will never have proper structured games so why even try eh?

just a thought.

I agree on the boredom part since facing pugs 24/7 is just pretty meh.
I already talked about possible wargames in my bracket to make things more interesting.

In any case if you wanna go competitive , you got same 4 spells on endgame in most cases :rolleyes:

I don't understand your point, You say that competitive pugs don't exist anymore. How do you suggest we get more competitive and entertaining pugs? boycott the new activity levels with sour comments about filthy casuals?
 
Surely you all realise the higher activity level means a sure influx of new players?
More new players interested in the bracket, can mean more people joining/ forming guilds and getting better so we can have more premades like the old days. That is if everyone would stop being sour about being forced to play with noobs, maybe you could take them under your wing and make them good.

I cant believe how much the community has changed since I played years ago.
Sure there was assholes then too, but nobody was so elite that they turned their noses up at PUGs, and there was plenty of people out there willing to help gear up and teach new players.

I think the BG merge was needed, even 20-29s were getting slow queue times before this patch. Although the new gear system is horrendous, I miss theorycrafting new gearsets.

i find it funny that some ppl still act like pugs had quality, the only competitve games you guys had were the wargames which youre still able to do

even though i agree that balance wise this patch is worse than wod (and i didnt think this was possible during wod)
