You act as if 19 XP off pugs were that great anyway.
Hate to break it to you, they were just as shitty and unbalanced as 20-29 US XP off.
Only thing 19s had that was the least bit competitive was wargaming, only reason I ever came to the bracket. It was the only thing different.
That's far from true. The ones that aren't enjoying it are the ones that won't get off of their high horses and actually see that this is a good thing.
Why sit in a que for two hours without a pop and then get a good game? Now you can play games for two hours, yes games may not be that great, but then you can get a good one. At least you aren't just sitting in Org wasting your entire night.
Inc ahead, some smartass thinks it will be funny or cool to say you are wasting your night anyway.
i find it funny that some ppl still act like pugs had quality, the only competitve games you guys had were the wargames which youre still able to do
even though i agree that balance wise this patch is worse than wod (and i didnt think this was possible during wod)
Kek...
Give us your definition of casual.
I suppose you think you and your ilk are "hardcore". A "hardcore" PvPer would play endgame my friend. Playing lowbies is far from hardcore. Very very few people on this site are of "hardcore" PvP or PvE. Most may think they are, but they are not. They do not have the intestinal fortitude to be "hardcore". A player is not "hardcore" unless they strive to be very best and beat the very best. The very best are at end game, not beginning game.
You people could not even make up a team for a match when given a days notice. All you all came up with was excuses. How are you "hardcore"?
Hardcore players would have had a team ready on a moments notice. Hell, their team would have already been on. Hardcore players are well organized. They farm for their guilds. They recruit players for their guilds. They represent their guild in a positive manner. You people are out for yourselves. You have absolutely no idea what being hardcore is about.
Here's the deal:
Competitive PUGs didn't exist when you were queuing 5 man fotm into random PUGs and 3-0 ing. Anyone who says games were competitive in that manner is delusional. Why else have we seen /afk loss dodging the second a PUG team starts winning?
True competition is leveling the playing field, not showing up to the party with countless advantages and destroying the other team. There's no competition in keeping a team at gy while they get frustrated and afk out.
Games also only popped a few times a year. Anyone who says it's better to only have a few pops a year compared to 24/7 instant pops isn't fighting for what's best for the entire 10-19s bracket (or perhaps entire twinking community) and need to sit down.
The quality of PUGs has increased drastically. You and your 4 friends can't queue and dominate disadvantaged teams as easily? Boo. The amount of games I've seen flip flop last minute in this new system speaks to the increase in competition. Quality is not 7 minute warsong experiences on loop until those kids log on the opposing faction and do the same once again.
I've always been for the greater twink community which is why you've seen me roll healers, organize wargames in mop, post more guides than anyone else in the community, and fight for activity and growth over exclusion and "competition".
Now 49 twinks and 60 twinks can queue up again. First time they've been able to play since wotlk. Instant pops for everyone with unlimited games and recruitment. "High competition loss dodgers" can nut up and wargame each other instead of just trying to roll pugs and say "maybe PUGs need to get better".
This "quality" and "competition" the minority of players have been vocalizing their desire for is 100% falsified. There is no quality nor competition in steam rolling 3-0 games within the first 7 minutes because you and your other fotm homies decided to group queue with Skype into pick up groups. You guys have been putting whatever increases your ego as priority over activity. Been that way for years. Especially when our community was halved due to one team farming of the horde titles in Cata.
Well not entirely, Pizza started it but it created this arms race because no one wanted to solo queue into it so then everyone started trying to group queue which slowly killed off pugs. But yea, most of these guys have no clue what they are even discussing.
multiple of my own fucking alliance guilds dipshit, roflStop talking out of your ass lmao.
The reason why Pugs would go on FOREVER into the night was because people would solo queue into Pizza to beat him. That's what made it competitive. People couldn't win so they worked on improving. You have aboslutely no ducking clue what you're talking about.
Mention a single player who consistently group queued into Pizza. I doubt you can, because there were none.

honestly anyone who was relevant at the time knows who I am and who I queued with so I couldn't give less of a shit what you think you know, lmao.Name the players? Rofl.
If you tell me that you know who robbed a bank, and I ask you who; you can't answer "someone in New York".
That's just plain stupidity.

lmao, hard to win against a man that /afks every game he losesPeople couldn't win
Execpt that most players who actually played back then already know my premise so even if I give you the big long list of people who we group queued with it wouldn't mean shit to you because you apperantly can't even remeber it even happened.
Don't like pugs? Put a 5 man together. You should be able to put that BG on your collective back.
I think you're missing the point - you can do this by solo queuing now. 5 mans will be even more pointless until/unless activity picks up to the point that there are a lot of them running at once.
Pugs definitely weren't the absolute ideal of perfect competition, but 19s were the only place in the game where you could queue up and play WSG consistently with people who actually knew how to play their roles in a CTF game.
It is what it is though. People will stop playing or make the best of it. Hopefully the activity will be leveraged into a good thing eventually.
