We all know Hunters are OP... are they the best duelers though?

I have been wing clipped once in this bracket, when the hunter ran 5 yards over to me to hit melee me. I was just amazed.

There are only a few times that I wingclip, If a rogue opens on me, if a warrior gets a charge on me, and hunter pets. If im being ignored, then I will every now and then try to wing clip a FC group. Normally tho, I'm too far from people for it to be worth it.

wing clip is almost useless to hunters without trinkets or anti venom (me and any stating hunter) in this bracket, it is perfect for maybe 1v2 if those 2 include 2 warriors, if its against a caster capable class then forget it, getting out of range will take to long they will nuke you down before you get out of range.

Team play ( not HK chasing) means peeling healers from EFC and peeling DPS from FC. Every CC / slow counts. If you die and your FC caps then who cares, if you can rush a group and slow them all and your FC escapes, you dying is worth it.

Against rogues is useless with their poisons,ss,trinkets.

Once every 5 min

Wingclip is good if you have some anti venom and or a trinket.else you wont be able to get away after that initial disengage a rogue will just shadowstep (because most of them are sub rogues) appear behind you and slow you down unless you have a trinket or anti venom.

you can even just macro wing clip into all your other abilities if you are one of those kind of people. you know how many times ive ran circles around random s-keying hunter #883471723123854832 and had them just melee me twice and then be unable to keyboard turn around in time to do anything? it's like wing clip doesn't even exist in this bracket

Man so much theory crafting I love it. Now i dismiss pet instead of just letting it die and rezz it. I know what i learned from this thread.

I'm still learning, especially because the game keeps changing. So don't ever expect to know everything, just keep chuggin away at getting better. That's all any of us can do.

And yea, it's easy to do well on a hunter, but it is challenging to master. Just as anything is. I mean, its easy to run, but hard to be the best runner in the world.

started bg with a hunter maybe a week ago. My main is an hpally. Been playing hpally 7 months Hunter competitive 5-7ish days. Just giving out info as why hunters maybe op duel worthy class. This coming from someone who plays a class that can down a hunter and has seen how hunters manage to down me on a 1v1 situation. f(they stay out of my exo distance.)
