On the topic of the armor kits, they, I think will also be scaled down with the armor amounts. Good find but I think Blizzard will get that

They won't be. All enchants for previous expansions are done and dusted. They all cannot be applied to items ilvl 600 or more and they all already scale per expansion level ranges. Blizz has washed its hands of old enchants now, none of them impact end game anymore.

It's not just the armor kits. I'm telling you now that Strike of the Hydra - Item - World of Warcraft will be the most powerful item in the bracket with the way it's scaled. Yes it has already been nerfed for WOD (@ lvl 20 its 46 armor debuff instead of 50 on live).

From those notes - "Bonus Armor: Increases Armor and Attack Power for tanking specializations."

Now think about those +16 armor kits x 4 and 10/20 on cloak and 30 on shield. There's roughly a bonus 100 attack power to f2p prots / guardians.

Even worse with p2ps and Enchant Cloak - Major Armor - Item - World of Warcraft +90 attack power

edit; I should note that last time 'bladed armor' was included in tanking skills it converted bonus armor into attack power at a rate of 1:1 I'm assuming that this new incarnation is keeping that conversion

I believe they are hoping you will gem bonus armor... Gear Changes in Warlords of Draenor - Forums - World of Warcraft under "Additional Properties". They may not count armor kits as the stat "+Bonus Armor" but rather just add it to your armor. So you get the armor but since it's not counted as true "bonus armor" you don't benefit from the additional attack power.

I know that sounds funky but they actually do something like that now with plus % increase in armor. For example, if you switch to Bear Form you don't get 120% increase to ALL your armor. You get 120% provided by gear. If you have an armor kit you get +16 added after as a static amount. I believe they call it magic armor... It's not affected by % increase. BUT +armor from Enchants I believe counts toward % increases...

If you look at the gear on Alpha they have almost no armor values on them right now... I'd save your kits. +16 might be changing because that's a huge amount...



TL,DR Just because you get additional armor doesn't mean it will count as "Bonus Armor". Or at least let's hope not, cause with this and p2ps being 29... it's going to be a slaughter feast of physical damage dealers.

Serpent Spread has been renamed Serpent Sting, and remains as passive ability for Survival Hunters. It causes Multi-Shot and Arcane Shot to also apply the Serpent Sting poison, which does instant and periodic damage. Each time it deals damage, the Hunter receives 3 Focus, with a 3 second cooldown.

so hunters still have it and it got buffed.

rake still stuns but it is feral only . feral no longer has moon fire or entangling roots any more though. the formula on ferocious bite was redone as well . ill see about getting the feral druid in my damage calculation page too they are looking very strong but even with the buff a warrior will still probably kill a feral druid . rogue will kill one as well . feral will probably kill hunter and mage . warlock might kill troll and worgen feral when trinket is up. paladin will probably kill a druid as well .

its all kinda tough to say atm though . either way though they will be very strong .

Track Humanoids has been removed. Cat Form now naturally includes the ability to track humanoids

Also looks like the ability that made envenom refresh SnD went baseline, so mut rogues wont need to worry about keeping it up. Also...recup looks REALLY strong. 5% hp every 3 sec w/ no battle fatigue?

Oh my...

a feral might be able to pull it off if he can open on the warrior with the stun. ideally the druid would open with the stun pop some shreds and then finish with your bleed. as soon as stun ends. when you have your slow on the warrior it would be possible to stay in that deadzone where they have no charge or no melee.

on the other hand if warrior trinkets and gets a lucky crit with mortal strike he will down the druid pretty quick . with the super efficient slam for only 15 rage he will have some really strong dps uptime .

another strategy would be to use your vial cool down add-on to time the warriors rage dumps and counter it with bear form . momentarily . because all druids get the super armor bear form now (330% armor) which is about 60% physical reduc.

ehh just my thought at the moment . i definitely am looking forward to wod

yeah i can see a stam heavy assas rogue being kindah viable. idk how i really feel about it though . i would probably be more inclined to roll combat and go for that blade furry poison spread . and ridiculous burst with nightstalker evis on anyone tough to say though because i can see 24/7 slice and dice being pretty dope too.
