Warlords of Draenor Changes for F2P

Guardian plus tyrany plus battle standard plus cow stacking Stam = 4.6 k hp. Close to 5 with fort buff iirc . But it doesn't matter having all that health if ur least efficient spell gets out doss by a pet and a hunter auto shoting . Rogues aren't as bad and u usually hVe time to fake a kick and top itself back off as long as they don't get you with kick. IMO Rahman is best played as a upfront purge and shear spamming tank that just works on countering other healers as much as possible while throwing in a heal or two. An equally skilled healer if any class will out heal you .

Rogues shouldn't beat any healer 1v1, crazy battleground circumstances notwithstanding.

RSham is kind of a momentum healer, in my opinion. This is more of an arena environment observation, but I think some of it applies to Battlegrounds.

Since Resto Shamans are so excellent at countering other healers, they work best with cleave teams that rely on steamrolling another team before they have time to get counter play. Shear for casts, purge for hots/shields, dispel for defensive CC, defensive CD's that allow you to out-tank the dps of an enemy healer for a short period of time.

However, if the Rsham's DPS get shut down and the healing output is put into question, Rshams begin to fall off hard.

Tl;Dr - Restoration Shamans are a very offensive healer.

Nature's can be casted while you are eating a stun, neither of the others can.
I was being sarcastic :( . Guardian num 1 by miles . On the other hand I can't tell you the number of times my totems have eaten a explosive shit for me .

Nature's grace doesn't actually reduce damage taken, only provides a small heal whereas astral shift can be popped pre-emptively to effectively kill your enemys burst :00 Rather take less damage than get a small heal + big health pool after you're almost dead anyways :p but maybe that's just me. Think we're off-topic enough anyways so just use the talent you like lol, not gonna bother debating about this

One of the frailties of shaman is they can be nature locked. Thus locking them out of almost all of the defensive and offensive spells. Fortunately non of the talents get locked out.
Astral Shift - Spell - World of Warcraft really is not all that great for PvP because is you can't predict with 100% accuracy incoming damage preemtively.
Stone Bulwark Totem - Spell - World of Warcraft on the other hand is great for spell power stackers because it is increased as a direct result of your spell power. And has been constantly been getting buffs on each and every patch since it's inception. It is also great for players that do not mind using CDs, For which the shaman class is very heavily dependent upon as they level.
And finally, Nature's Guardian - Spell - World of Warcraft , is great for stamina stackers. It too, has gotten better since it was introduced back in 4.0. It used to be terrible for PvP if you PuGed prior to 5.0. But with it's improvements it can be the go to choice for many players that like it's "set it and forget it" feature. It is practically a free heal after all.
Depending on the opponents it may be best to carry some Vanishing Powder - Item - World of Warcraft. It is relatively inexpensive and easy to acquire. That way you can xhange your talents any time you choose.
Have a safe Memorial Day!

Totem is really a lot more viable for P2P Shamans. On a F2P the divide between NG and Totem is huge. You really can't get that much SP.

Gotta keep in mind this is technically in the F2P section.

In reference to the analysis that was depicted above, I did not render it strictly for any particular forum or subforum. There is no mention of trials, subscribers, special enchants or anything in which that no player has access. In fact, there is very little if no opinion at all involved in the analysis. I gave the palpability of each talent left it for the audience to decide which they choose is best for them.

You talk in a F2P forum from a P2P perspective.
