Warlords of Draenor Changes for F2P

When ever I play offensive guardian i like to rock the full fang set with jp healing staff most of the time . I sit in a very balanced mix of int and agi for very nice healing with rejuve for max survivability with a pretty decent offense .

On a diff note I can see ddruids becoming very nice for mele vs mele comps . Root and flail around while rejuve tick till u get restealth .

I run with Wrangler's for Guardian BiS. I'm fairly sure they're just flat out better.

For offensive Guardian I would use essentially Feral gear, so FotL/SIPS/Cobrahns

7 agi vs 1 stam. In these times 1% dodge will probably help you more than 14 hp.

The thing about offensive Guardian is that a well set up Bear Hug is more effective than a Ferocious Bite, in my opinion.

First, Guardian can solo healers. Or at the very least, I feel somewhat comfortable in making that assertion. It certainly isn't alone - a geared Arms Warrior can solo priest/shaman/druid healers with ease, and I think a hunter can solo the same as well.

Guardian has the added benefit of doing a high amount of true (unmitigated [non-reduced]) damage via Bleeds/Dots.

So using a bulky Feral set as Guardian (mine has 1787 health outside of bg's w/ agm/LFH), your bear hug will end up doing 30% of your bear form health divided by the reduction from resilience. Something like (10% of max health = ~218 x 3 ticks = 654 x 60% damage after resilience = ) ~393 damage. But with a 5 point Rip, a rake, and a moonfire also affecting the target - followed by a Bear Mangle for about 120 base damage (usable while in the Bear Hug Root), you'll be doing about (~240 from Rip, ~150 from Rake, ~90 from Moonfire, ~120 from Bear Mangle) 1000 damage total to the target over the duration of the Bear Hug.

If you're really able to do a set up against a healer (think 2v2 healer/dps vs healer/dps), you can actually generate 5 combo points before you bear hug and still maintain a full Rip on the target for the duration.

This means that you are able to immediately Ferocious Bite with bleeds with >50 energy, which should be doing about 500 base.

If you are Tauren, you can actually deny them a single global cooldown between the end of the Bear Hug and your shapeshift into cat form for the Bite.

Sure it's a lot more complicated and situational than Ferocious Bite, but A. It's pretty fun to set up, and B. You have the amazing defenses that come with being a Guardian Druid.

Try it out! Tell me what you guys think :3

I like to use tunic of westfall and seal of wrynn. But p2p scumz can do dat.

All you need now is someone to go afk while you do your rotation :p

Not if role system is fixed.

It was never broken. Blizzard never said they were going to dictate class comps. What the role check does is help you, and your teammates quickly tell what role everyone around you is.

I do agree though. A system that would prevent class stacking/healer stacking, even tank stacking (looking at you alliance, not that its effective, yet were stuck with you) would be great.

Is that based on anything other than that ridiculous one word Twitter post?

It is been mentioned several times since the infamous one word twitter.
X0-x9 brackets are coming.
Honestly, there is no telling how strong a level 20 will be right now when 6.0 comes out. There are so many variables and changes happening with this expansion it is unlike any other WoW has ever had. We should sit back and devour the information as it comes in to us instead of proclaiming doom and gloom.

I missed it, but it makes sense since it fractured the twinking communities too the point that the majority of the new brackets died off. Maybe it wont be so bad if they can scale 20s up to 29. If they cant temporarily grant skills for those levels while inside bgs its going to be shitty though i think. Interesting changes headed our way.

Battleground - Wowpedia - Your wiki guide to the World of Warcraft

[h=3]Warlords of Draenor[/h]The following features are planned for the coming Warlords of Draenor expansion:
[h=4]Strongboxes[/h]Players will be able to earn Strongboxes through completing Random and Call to Arms battlegrounds. Three ranks of Strongbox will be available: Bronze, Silver and Gold. One or more of these will be awarded to each player at the end of the match, depending on the team's performance in the battleground. Players will still be able to earn Strongboxes if their team doesn't win the match. Strongboxes may contain Honor, Conquest, consumables or even gear.
For example, Warsong Gulch will reward a Bronze Strongbox if the player's team captured 1 flag, a Bronze and a Silver Strongbox if they captured 2 flags, and a Bronze, a Silver and a Gold Strongbox if they captured 3 flags. Some battlegrounds scoring systems will be changed to make these milestones easier to recognise (such as changing Arathi Basin to a maxim of 1500 resources, down from 2000).
The Strongbox system aims to act as encouragement for players to participate strategically in each battleground, even if their team seems unlikely to win. Completing objectives such as resource gathering will still earn players extra rewards even if their team loses.[SUP][1][/SUP]
[h=4]Bracket expansions[/h]Battleground brackets will be returning to their previous 10-level ranges,[SUP][2][/SUP] instead of the current mostly 5-level ranges.
  • For example, Warsong Gulch will have brackets for 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc, instead of for 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, etc.
  • Some expansion-limited brackets such as 84-89 may stay as they are.
[h=4]Scoreboard[/h]The battleground scoreboard is being updated to provide better insight into your performance in battlegrounds. A new stat called Battleground Score will take into account objective-based gameplay you engage in, such as returning flags, interrupting objective captures, healing, doing damage, and more.[h=4]User interface[/h]In addition, flag timers and other objective timers will also be viewable on the map, complete with an additional animation. This will make it easier to identify the time until an objective is captured for players on either side to defend or attack to disrupt the capture.
