@Lil I don't think a recount would matter. Reasons being that half the names in this list are trolled. Also waaay to many names to be in a best of thread. If there was less names people would be forced to vote accurately and fairly for legitament players or not vote at all. This thread wasn't setup as good as the rogue thread, so therefore it wasn't gonna produce accurate votes. It's nothing to take serious, it's all for fun and juicy conversations. Hopefully next thread will be setup better.

I see so many different things done. Some people don't use problem Solving neck, some don't use the rocks, in fact it seems like I don't see any 20 hunters who looks like they are COMPLETELY item level stacking. They might have problem Solving neck and fishing trinkets, but then don't use rocks..... can someone please explain??

oh I know this was all in fun. Just moreso about the person who srsly felt the need to bot accounts to vote on here (who also got beat by a nonexistent hunter since he wants to point out batman). I tried keeping this interesting and fun with bronz but the result kind of stains any fun from the thread.
the revote claim was mostly a joke. I'm surprised by how many people voted but not by the results. Idk if xpoff has the option like TI did to show who voted for what option but please enable that for the next poll
have a feeling it might just spark even more debate and drama haha

This list is lol... There is probably some loner dude out there which just likes to twink solo and pwns each and everyone and is unheared of.
I'd like to duel against good hunters though on my twink, I'm BiS and have every single consumable availiable... also a few neat toy deception macros which will give me plenty of free wins lawl... 3.8k hp self buffed. without stam enchants.
Also how many of ya'll are stacked on Ogri la crystals?.... as i thought.... i would prolly own 99% of this list. and i aint on it.

Well you need ilvl 44 before you even see a 1% increase in stats (34+10). Once people realize they can't get that high they kind of just give up and wear whatever. That's why you see so many different partial ilvl gear sets. Also not many people willing to try so hard for a 1% increase.

Going to make my one yearly post, mainly because I think I've been around long enough to see some of the best hunters to play the bracket. The list is in no specific order. So let's begin:
1. Orc - One of the best f2p hunters, and one of the few that could out duel me in a 1v1. Great sense of map awareness and used his tracking very well. Knew exactly where he needed to be at what point in the game and always played objectives. Him and Lenny used to que together a lot and it was one of the scariest combinations of Offense/defense. Would legit duo carry games. As a vet hunter Orc maintained his skill and aptitude in the game.
2. Lil - Probably the clutchest hunter. Unfortunately he/she (?) had a terrible reputation of being salty and raged a lot. Lil's popularity and dominance was definitely at peak during cata and carried over partially in MOP. At this point I hadn't even started playing hunter (played my Hpal Freetopali) but it was well understood that Lil had to be respected. I've seen Lil carry games and win impossible fights (this was back in the day where 24's would legit one shot you as a f2p player). I was fcing on my Hpal one game, we were down 0-1 with 45 seconds left. Lil 1v3's a hunter, rogue and resto druid and gets the return. Lil came back later on as Vet, but at that point there were actually quite a few strong hunters and the meta had shifted quite a bit. Lil was still within the top 7-8 hunters though.
3. Goohd - Another very strong hunter that peaked around MOP/WOD. He was very dominant as a f2p player as well as when most f2p players moved on to creating Vets. His mechanics weren't as strong as someone like Orc or Lil but he still held his own in most games. He was definitely in the top 3 hunters at one point in WOD.
4. Tko - Another extremely strong hunter. He mostly played vet and was quite prominant in MOP/WOD. The thing with Tko though was that he wasn't as strong in pugs as he was in premades. He would que with Nagaz people coming out of Bleeding Hollow. It was one of the strongest premades in the bracket, and premade groups of 29's would frequently AFK out when they ran into them. He was also extremely strong in the 10v10 premades that began cropping up later on in WOD as pugs got more and more boring. The 10v10 premade era was probably the most fun I've had in the game aside from probably running premades with Ploy/Swelly/Bend/Ash/Sun in the MOP era, when HB and his crew also ran f2p premades.
5. Mikeytot - What can I say about Mikey that most of you already don't know... The thing with Mikey is that he is extremely talented, but also probably the biggest troll in the bg. A lot of the time when he thinks the bg is unwinnable he will give up, but when he actually tries he wrecks kids. He is a true pug master. He doesn't need a premade to win games and knows how to create opportunities even with a crappy team. He was also very strong in WOD.
6. Hoax (Phron) - I know we all know and love Phron for his godly shaman, but his pocket hunter in MOP/WOD was also extremely sick. He's actually the reason I made my hunter. I remember I had come back from a break and was healing on my Hpal (near the end of MOP) and Phron was destroying people on his worgen hunter. This eventually led to me making worgen hunter. I think what made Phron such a good hunter was that he had all that experience from FCing since cata, along with a great sense of map awareness, game awareness and understanding of how much pressure healers can sustain (partly due to him having played shaman since cata).
7. Oneshot - This is another OG of the bgs. He played a nelf hunter since Cata and got progressively better through MOP and WOD. When you think of Oneshot, its always just hunter. This guy was another pug lord. He started playing out of Quel'Thalas but moved servers later on in Mop/WOD. He said very little in the bg chat in most games but everyone kind of knew this guy was good.
There's plenty of others obviously that had some sick hunters, that I'm going to mention very breifly: Burg, Zale, Delayed, Kevikev, and many many others...
