I'm 100% certain it's not 50 first to win anymore (at least server-side), regardless of what wowhead says. Might be regional now as MYT stated because the tournament ends in roughly 10 minutes or less now, whereas I could literally win it 3 times in a row on the same server before.

Yep. Specially since it's a case where the information had to do with recent changes/uncertainty from bugs in the event.

lol regardless why attach his with yours? Let a be guide... regardless if there's more than one. Like telling mvq don't make an fc guy because resto has made one (an example). Despite the reason of it being recent changes from a bug, the guide in general is still a different guide to yours.

Before making the merge we made sure that bestworlds thread had no new content. His thread contained the same information as mine. Even his pathing was the same. We saw no reason to have 2 threads about the same topic.
He had good intentions for making the thread as he was responding to many questions pertaining to the fishing contest in another thread. However he should have redirected them to this guide. And I should have done a better job at keeping it updated. Although it's hard given the contests bugs and changes.

You fail to understand the point, maybe it's just what xpoff has become. I just went through your guide section and saw two 19 rogue guide very similar in lay out and even introducing the methods on how to improve, gear, class.
The reason for a guide is a personal prospective on what a person thinks is a good idea, for example I remember on TI reading three or four guides on the same topic to understand every opinion despite it leading to the same outcome the wording is different. Like you said you hold dear to your own personal guide but that doesn't give you the authority to attach his guide over yours.
I am not going to reply back but just my sense of your replies, little things like this is why no one even respects this website anymore.

Well I actually used to count them and definitely more than 50 would get called out before i'd win my first one - and then i'd win on 4 more twinks. so if it was supposed to work that way it wasn't for a period.

Last Sunday I took 2nd in the tourny and picked the trinket. At least 4 more players took 2nd as well. Each was from a different server. After the 5th person was awarded 2nd place the announcer stated that the tourny was won and over.
I don't know if that's been normal but it appeared that 1 player received 1st place and 5 received 2nd.

Thinking of BFA, or literally right now? Right now you are able to, yes. Haven't checked / had info about BFA fishing trinket / LFH, but my guess is that it should still be obtainable. I don't see why not.

Won the trinket the hard way no bugs, 2 out last 3 weeks, definitely very little room for error now.
The real #1 pro tip not mentioned here is.. use the angler fishing raft and spam jump to move quicker,
also helped my 19 was a druid for travel form, moved much quicker.
