What you keep calling "Critical Thinking" doesn't exactly constitute what you are talking about and doing.

Anyone who falls for the siren’s song of socialism after all the harm it’s caused in the last century is either ignorant of history, unable to think critically or both. Not sure which category you fall into, but I’d figure it out if I were you.

yes there’s always recoveries after downturns. They usually take a couple of years. His took over 10.

You’re literally unable to comprehend the simple concept if that explanation doesn’t get through.

To get it where it where it was before Hoover sure. But it was lower than when he took office the year after he took office.

There you go with that "critical thinking" shtick again.

I won't stand for this president Hoover erasure
Hoover’s policies definitely contributed to a major economic downturn. But it was Roosevelt jacking taxes sky high and his bs new deal that turned that downturn into the Great Depression and caused it to last over a decade.

It’s like Obama’s Great Recession. He inherited a downturn caused by Barney Fwank’s Community Reinvestment Act forcing banks to lend to bad lending risks. But then he made it far worse so it didn’t recover as fast as normal. He wasn’t as bad as FDR, but he inhibited a normal recovery.

"The economy is gonna be a little better, no english speaking person could do a worse job than Hoover".

I thought your take on american history was that those were called FDRvilles
[doublepost=1576980615,1576980583][/doublepost]He thinks all socialists are Stalinists
No they were called Hooverville’s. FDR was a formidable liar with his fireside chats and besides....it was a felony to speak out against dear ruler.

Good ol' red scare tactics in full effect.

Combine that with the fact that the GOP's rhetoric is nothing but a cargo cult. A match made in heaven. ^_^;

Yeah, I’m anti socialist. Guilty as charged. I’ll never allow my countrymen to lose their freedom so bums can have free stuff.

Good to see it only took us 2 pages to get you to remember Hoover existed.
There you go again, back to nonsense.

And yet your politics are so poorly equipped to do well by your countrymen.

I constantly see people tout these things of "freedom". But the US often teeters around the 20th most free country, and numerous countries that get accused of being the very thing you hate rank higher.

Again, the same person calling others sheep marches to the beat of a drum themselves.

Denmark has a population of around 5.6 million, New York City alone is about 8.6 million, so trying to make that work for the entire US would be great if possible but i'm not sure if it can work, the US is like 50 countries in one. I'm from NY and people from Texas are more foreign to me than people from Europe and Asia probably.

what I meant by that was people in Denmark care about their own fellow people that live near them in their small country, here i'm not sure if a person from texas cares about people in new york and vice versa, so they are not willing to help each other with social programs, human tribal nature i guess, idk.

you think businesses are the good guys now??? only the banks are bad? go drink some Roundup

We have a bunch of immigrants, so the nationalistic argument you're making doesn't really apply to Denmark. There is quite a handful who feel like if you aren't a true Dane you shouldn't get benefits, but the majority agree that being born on the other side of an arbitrary line in the ground doesn't make you any different.

Bit similar in Sweden, isn't it?

Sweden and Denmark are like brothers. They aren't the same, but they are similar. Reason for this is that they are learning from each other through their mistakes and what they do right.
